11. 能動的学修支援センター
グローバル人材育成補助事業の一環として、2013年秋、従来の言語異文化学修センター（LDIC）および 学修達成センター（AAC）に加え、アカデミック・キャリア支援センター（ACSC）を開設、これら３つの センターを総称し能動的学修支援センターとして図書館棟2階に開所しました。能動的学修支援センターで は、学生の主体的かつ能動的学修意欲を高め支援するための様々な取組みを実施します。

LDICは、語学の自律学習者を支援するために、充実した設備と豊富な教材を備えた最先端の施設です。
40言語の教材を取り揃え、様々なサポートを提供します。
11-1-1. 理念
言語異文化学修センター（LDIC）は、外国語の学習を始めるまたは語学力の向上を目指す全ての人のた めに開かれた施設です。外国語の自主学習のための設備を備えるとともに、コミュニケーション能力を向上 させるための学習者同士による相互支援の機会を創出します。また、利用者が、個々の目的に適した学習方 法を習得し、外国語の運用能力伸ばすことができるよう、快適な学習環境を提供します。LDICは、外国語 および異文化についての生涯学習者の育成とそれらの能力を活かしグローバル社会で活躍する人材育成を支 援することを目的とします。
11-1-2. 自律学習
自律学習は、主体的に外国語を学ぶことであり、習うことではありません。自律学習者は、自ら目標を設 定し、学習方法を選択、目標達成までの計画を管理します。学習者の経験は個々に異なるため、目標も学習 方法も異なります。LDICは、学習者の異なるニーズをサポートするため、数多くの言語について多様な形 式の教材を揃えています。自律学習とは、学習を続ける中で体得する能力であり、生涯学習において必要不 可欠な要素です。

11-1-4. Facilities:
Multi-purpose Rooms (6rooms)
A Multi-purpose Room can accommodate 8 people. The rooms are equipped with a PC with internet connection, Skype, region-free DVD player, white board, 73 satellite channels in 32 countries, CNN, BBC. Web camera and microphone for a group of 8 are available for Skype at the counter.
Room 4 and 5 may be combined for a larger group. The rooms may be reserved via the Facility Reservation System.
DVD Booth (16seats)
The DVD Booth is equipped with a region-free DVD player to view DVDs produced in all countries, CNN, BBC and a PC with access to 73 satellite channels in 32 countries.
Speaking/Listening Rooms (12rooms)
Speaking/Listening Rooms can accommodate two people. The rooms are equipped with PCs with internet access and region-free DVD players. With popular RosettaStone software and Pronunciation Power a user can practice listening, speaking and pronunciation.
Reading Lounge (24seats)
This area provides comfortable reading space in which users can enjoy reading while listening to a CD. Portable CD players are available at the counter.
Open Study Space (22seats)
Three round tables with 18 seats and 4 desks are available for study. No reservation is needed.
11-1-5. Course Support EAP classes
As a part of EAP classes, EAP students do self-study for designated hours in the LDIC. The LDIC records students study time and helps students find and choose learning materials and assists in using them. At the request of teachers, learning materials may be reserved for a class at the counter.
Foreign Language Practice Courses
LDIC also supports foreign language practice courses helping students find and choose learning materials, use equipment and facilities and manage their study time. At the request of teachers, learning materials may be reserved for class work at the counter.

11-1-4. 設備
多目的学習室（６室）１室８人程度収容、ルーム４・５は結合して利用可能
PC（インターネット接続）、Skype、マルチ・リージョンDVDプレーヤー（国内制作ソフト再生のみ）、
衛生放送（32カ国73チャンネル）、BBC、CNN、ホワイトボードを設備しています。グループ学習のほか 少人数のワークショップ、授業などにも利用できます。Skype用マイク（８名グループ対応）とカメラはカ ウンターで貸し出します。Facility Reservation Systemで予約をしてください。
DVDブース（16席）
マルチ・リージョンDVDプレーヤー、PCを設備。各国のDVDおよびBBC、CNN、衛生放送32カ国73チ ャンネルを視聴できます。
スピーキング・リスニングルーム（12部屋） ２名まで利用可能
PC（インターネット接続）、LEDスタンドライトを設備。Rosetta Stoneなどのソフトウェアを利用し、
リスニング、スピーキング、発音の練習ができます。
リーディングラウンジ（24席）
LDICの書籍にはCD教材が付属しています。カウンターでポータブルCDプレイヤーを借りて、リーディ ングと同時にリスニングの学習が可能です。
学習スペース（22席）
丸テーブルとブース型机で自由に学習できます。予約は不要です。
11-1-5. 授業のサポート EAP
リーディング、スピーキング・リスニングの授業で、学習時間の管理、教材選択・設備の使い方の説明な どのサポートを行います。授業で教材または部屋を使用したい場合は、予約が可能です。
外国語実践科目
教員、学生に対し、学習時間の管理、教材選択、設備の使い方の説明などのサポートを行います。授業で 教材を使用する場合は教員からの要望により予約が可能です。

11-1-8. Purchase of Resources
If there is any learning material you would like the LDIC to have, please put a request card in the Request Box or request at the counter or by e-mail.
11-1-9. Reservation of Resources
A learning material may be reserved for a class at the request. Please request at the counter or by e-mail.
11-1-10. Copying of DVD/CD
For a class, the LDIC may make a copy of a DVD/CD at the request of a faculty member. Please consult at the counter or by e-mail.
11-1-11. Room Reservations
Multi-purpose Rooms and Listening/Speaking Rooms may be reserved. Maximum time of use is two hours for a Multi-purpose Room and one and a half hours for a Speaking Room; however it may be extended by 30 minutes when there is no other reservation.
11-1-12. Lending of Equipment
The following equipment may be lent out of the LDIC by prior arrangement. Lending period is two days. Please consult at the counter or by e-mail.

11-1-8. 教材購入
教材購入の要望がある場合は、カードに記入し、リクエストボックスに入れてください。教員の場合は、
カウンターまたはメールでお尋ねください。蔵書の構成および予算を考慮の上、購入を決定します。
11-1-9. 教材予約
授業で教材を利用する場合は、予約が可能です。カウンターで申し込みを受け付けます。
11-1-10. DVD・CD複製
教員が授業、研究等に使用する場合、著作権法の範囲内でDVD・CDを複製します。カウンターまたはメ ールで申し込んでください。
11-1-11. ルーム予約
多目的ルーム、スピーキングルームは予約が可能です。授業などで使用する場合は、予約をお勧めします。
使用時間は、多目的ルームは２時間、スピーキング・リスニングルームは1.5時間を上限としますが、次に 予約が入っていない場合には30分単位で延長が可能です。手続きはカウンターに問い合わせてください。

The LDIC offers various learning activities including key skills workshops, foreign language conversation practice service, English learning circles and other events to help students, faculty and staff members become autonomous learners of foreign languages. Dates of the activities will be announced by e-mail.

11-2-1. Purpose
The Academic Achievement Center (AAC) is a peer-learning community which provides undergraduate students with academic support by tutoring. The AAC aims to support individual students in their effort to develop their academic skills, and realize their potential for self-directed learning. Tutoring is provided by TAs and undergraduate students, called Peer Tutors who have completed intensive training or CCS 110 Tutoring course.

11-2-1. 目的
学修達成センター（AAC）は、学生が中心となり、学生の能力を最大限に引き出すための支援を提供する ピア･サポートの場です。ティーチング･アシスタント（TA）および学部生のピア・チューター（PT）と呼 ばれるチューターが、個別指導およびワークショップを通して、不得意な分野だけではなく、得意な分野に おいても、個々の目標達成のために丁寧にサポートします。
