Special Section on Information and Communication System

Security

The IEICE (Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers) Transactions on Informa-tion and Systems organized a Special SecInforma-tion on InformaInforma-tion and CommunicaInforma-tion System Security, which is the 2nd one after the 1st Special section of 2008, for promoting the research for our trust and secure com-munication environments. For being international, we invited security researchers not only from Japan but also from China, Korea, Taiwan and UK to the editorial committee.

We received 55 regular submissions and 3 letter submissions in response to the call for papers for this special section. And, after the careful and impartial review of the editorial committees, 15 regular papers and 1 letter were selected for this publication. We also invite 4 technical papers related to outstanding security topics from Korea, Taiwan, HongKong/MainlandChina and Japan.

The members of the editorial committee of this special section would like to thank all the authors for their technical submissions and to all reviewers for their reviewing within the tight schedule.
