<Summary > On the establishment of the territory of temples and shrines in the modern Suruga
MATSUMOTO Kazuaki In this article, the purpose is to verify that the established process of the ter- ritory of temples and shrines in the modern Suruga focusing on the Tensho era to the Keicho era and to clarify that the real state and the difference in the time phase.
In chapter 1, I focused on Ando (安堵) (act of providing authorization for land ownership and guaranteeing feudal tenure) of the territory of temples and shrines by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in 1590. Tokugawa Ieyasu inherited the territories, and then lords conducted inspections of them to decide the actual land and the distri- bution. It was guaranteed regardless of approval of lords by Ieyasu, so Bugyo-shu (奉行衆) (group of magistrates in Toyotomi administration) assisted the Ando act.
Additionally, it was revealed that the task lords did was just distributions of lands, so the necessity that a vassal, Yokoto Murasaku was more involved than his lord, Nakamura Hazime.
In chapter 2, I analyzed an involvement of Ide Seizi about Ando ( 安 堵 ) of territory of temples and shrines in the Tenmei era. As a result, I indicated that ① it is limited in a jurisdiction of Fuji district, ② Ide received Shuinzyo ( 朱 印 状 ) (diplomas) by Ieyasu, ③ the issue of bills on the assumption that Ieyasu will ap- prove the Ando.
In chapter 3, I analyzed an involvement of Ide in the Keicho era from points of view compared with the Tensho era. In the result, I could see that the reduction of authority in Fuji district and the handling of district that had never had the authority on the west of Ihara district. It means that authorities expanded widely with its qualitative reduction. In addition, I consider that there was an initial stage of work differentiations in handling temples and shrines by Zenami (全阿弥) and others.
In chapter 4, I analyzed Ando (安堵) of the territory of temples and shrines that Tokugawa authority carried after the Genna era. It was revealed that Tokuga- wa Hidetada basically inherited the state of Ando system of the Keicho era. Also, about the process of Ando, the first half between the Genna and Kanei era, mem-

bers of governmental post called Toshiyori-shu (年寄衆) provided directions, but in the Keicho era, Zishabugho (寺社奉行) did the work instead.
From the above, it was revealed that the gradual process changing into Ando (安堵) of the territory of temples and shrines based on official duties like the same characteristic when Tokugawa administration was established.
