Route 203

1. Walk to ''Karasuma-Imadegawa'' bus stop (about 1 km).

2. Take Kyoto City Bus Route 203 (going east) and get oﬀ at ''Kyodai Nogakubu-mae'' or ''Kitashirakawa'' bus stop (about 10 min.). (Fare: 220 yen)

3. Walk to RIMS (1 -- 2 min.).

Access from RIMS to Shijo-Kawaramachi (downtown) Taxi 15 to 20 min. (Fare is about 1,200 yen.)

Using Bus Route 17

1. Take the bus (going west) at ''Kyodai Nogakubu-mae'' or ''Ki- tashirakawa bus'' stop.

2. Get oﬀ at ''Shijo-Kawaramachi'' bus stop located at the southeast corner of the Shijo-Kawaramachi crossing point (west side of the Marui department store). (About 20 min. Fare: 220 yen)

Using Bus Route 201

1. Walk to the bus stop ''Hyakumanben'' at the southeast corner of the Hyakumanben crossing point (west side of Kyoto Univ.

Main Campus).

2. Take the bus (going south) and get oﬀ at ''Shijo-Kawaramachi'' bus stop located in front of Takashimaya department store (About 20 min. Fare: 220 yen).

Access from Shijo-Kawaramachi (downtown) to Palace Side Hotel Taxi 10 to 15 min. (Fare: about 800 yen.)

Using Subway Karasuma

Line

1. Walk to the ''Shijo'' subway station (Kyoto City Subway) located at the underground level of the Shijo-Karasuma crossing point (about 0.8 km from Shijo-Kawaramachi crossing point). <<Do not enter the Karasuma station of Hankyu railways>>

2. Take a train (going north) and get oﬀ at ''Marutamachi'' station (2nd station). (Fare: 210 yen)

3. Walk to the hotel (about 3 min.).
