Thisinsurancehelpsstudentswithphysicalinjuriesarisingfromunexpected accidentsduringtheireducationalandresearchactivities（suchascurricular activities,schoolevents,extracurricularactivities,etc.）.Every student, both degree student, and non-degree students, at Kanazawa University has to carry this Gakkensai insurance. The insurance premium varies depending upon the student’s length of enrollment. To apply, please consult your student affairs section.

OtherthantheGakken-Saiinsurance,thereareliabilityinsuranceswhich covercompensationfordamagescausedduringregularorextracurricular activities,schooleventsorotheractivitiessuchasinternships,nursingcare practice,theProgramforthestudyofJapaneseCultureandSociety,etc.
Internationalstudentsarerequiredtopurchaseeither"Inboundfutai-gakuso"
or"Futai-baiseki".Ofthetwo,westronglyrecommendthatstudentsjoin
"Inboundfutai-gakuso".To carry this insurance, you have to hold a Gakkensai.
