Kanazawa University recommends you get your own PC （laptop） to use in your study and student life.
If you do not have your own PC, Kanazawa University has few available for rental. However rental standards and sources depend on your student status. If you are not eligible to rent a university PC, please use one of the ones that are located on campus.

At Kanazawa University, computers are available at the University Library, the General Education Hall or the lounge of the Information Media Center.
They are also accessible if your school or graduate school sets up computers for common use in your school or graduate school building.
The Central Library, the Natural Science and Technology Library, and the Medical Library have PCs and printers for student use. There are no scanners in the libraries.

＜How to print on campus＞
You can print on campus by using the Acanthus printing system.
To print, log in to the Acanthus portal （11-4） and select “Acanthus Print Service” from “Tools.” You can print from any Acanthus printers on campus.

The price of printing depends on the printing size. The basic cost is 5 yen per page （black & white, A4 size）. You need to charge your Student ID Card balance at the University Co-op shop.

In the Central Library, there are PCs from which you can print documents in the libraries by cash or with a copy card sold at the University Co-op shop. To use, refer to the manual placed around the PCs. The basic cost is 10 yen per page （black & white, A4 size）.
