a large number of larvae and pupae of a small Prosimuliu刑
species were collected from considerably fast 世 田dycurrent of F uyushima 5tr田ms at the foot of Mt. Apoi in Hokkaido.An
additional collection of this species including many females which attacked me was done in July 13 at the same locality. The taxonomic characters of these materials are allied to those of Prosimulium sarurense ONO，
