The taxonomic characters of these specimens are allied to those of Twinnia japone附 is，but as have been already pointed out by UEMOTO and ONO (1976)， they differ from the latter in the genitalia in both sexes，
female maxillary palp and male hind legs. This species 1S also allied to Twinnia magad白 山sT. sedicu:問f目 的lata. T. hydroides. 1て 削 叩，
T. tibblesi阻d
T. biclavata，
however， it di任'ersfrom the latter 6 species in several features pointed out later. Therefore， this isαonsidered to repr白enta new species田 describedin this paper.

erence greatly; body， 2.5‑3.2 mm; wing， 2.8‑
3.6 m m General body colour greyish black; legs greyish brown.Head dark grey， slightly narrower th叩 thorax;posterior and undersurface sparsely covered with long grey hairs. Frons grey， half shiny， broad and slightly diverging above and covered with greyish pubesc田 ce. Clypeus darker th皿 frons，tinged with brow皿shblack and longer than wide; sparselyαovered with fine grey hairs.
