Abstract
In Japan, the policy evaluation system was introduced in order for the Japanese public administration to implement its accountability and to realize efficient and high quality administration. This study was aimed at investigating the relation of the basic concepts about the policy evaluation system and the contents and the characteristics of policy evaluation system in Japan.
