(1)Acid Rain Data at Yokohama, Japan (Aug. 1995 - Aug. 1996). Haruta MuRAYAMA Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Education,. Yokohama National University, 79-2 Tokiwadai, Hodogaya-ku, Yokohama 240, Japan. Rain samples were collected adequately at the center of Yokohama city from August 1995 to August 1996. Total numbers of samples were 109. pH values and electric conductivity (E.C.). were measured immediately after catched samples and then chemical species were analyzed. This report is contained all observed data. Frequency of acid rain (pH < 5.6) were 89% of all collected samples.. Analytical methods were as follows:. CI-, N03-, S042- :Ion chromatography.. NH4' :Indophenolbluecolorimetry. Na, K Mg, Ca :Atomic absorption spectrophotometry. This study was carried out at the laboratory of Yokohama National University. Original charts of ion chromatography and atomic absorption spectrophotometry are deposited at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Education..
