Study of Cataloguing Clothing Specimens for Proper Attributes

What I'm going to explain in this paper is not specimens, but a proposal of one method of working on specimens. The catalog which is attached to the paper is therefore only a part of the specimens tentatively made by the method I proposed.
The main themes for the proposal are as follows:
1. I have clarified the relation among the concepts of clothes, accessories and cosmetics, and also made a new concept that comprises all these three concepts, as there was no Japanese word for this concept.
2. In order to distinguish clothes from apparel, I have made the concepts of apparelize and clotheize, and explained them in a concrete manner.
3. As only by material conditions, the concepts are identified, conditions that are related to the intentions of wearers, such as
"decorations" are excluded .
Thus I have divided the concept of decoration into two
attributes, unfuctional and optional.
