◦各種民間奨学団体が各大学を通じて、在学している私費外国人留学生を対象に、
奨学生を募集します。ただし、大学から推薦できる学生の数は限られており、特 に研究生（非正規生）については、奨学金へ応募できない場合がほとんどです。
◦大学推薦が必要な奨学金への応募を希望する私費留学生は、奨学金受給 年度の前年度 6 月と 10 月に「私費外国人留学生奨学生候補募集」という表 題で学内で一括募集をしますので、申請してください。ただし、10 月につ いては、6 月に申請しなかった人が対象です。
なお応募後、結婚や就職により世帯収入を得るなど、応募条件を満たさな くなった場合は、すぐに所属の学務係に連絡してください。
◦大学推薦を必要としない奨学金（希望者が奨学団体等に直接応募できる奨 学金）の募集は、アカンサスポータルや掲示板等でお知らせします。詳し くはウェブサイト（前頁に記載）や、自分の所属の学務係や、留学支援係に お問い合わせください。
◦奨学団体等は、奨学生に対して、懇談会への出席等の義務を課しているこ とがあります。義務を果たさないと奨学生の身分を取り消されることがあ りますので、注意してください。奨学財団等の承認が必要な連絡、例えば、
出席を義務づけられている懇親会への欠席等は電子メールで連絡しただ けでは、義務を果していません。電話で奨学財団等の承認を取ってください。

◦Privately-financed international students who wish to apply for scholarshipsthatrequiretherecommendationoftheuniversityneed tobelistedasscholarshipcandidatesfromKanazawaUniversity.The listingprocedurewillbepublishedundertheheadingof“Scholarship CandidatesSelectionforIndependentlyFinancedStudents”inJune and October of the preceding academic year.
