6-3（1） 機関保証・住宅総合補償
留学生が民間アパートを契約する際、金沢大学では一定の条件で留学生 の賃貸借契約の連帯保証人を引き受けています。このシステムのことを、「金 沢大学外国人留学生住宅賃貸借契約機関保証制度」（通称 ： 機関保証）といい ます。
その場合、留学生は「機関保証」の申請と共に「留学生住宅総合補償」（通 称 ： 住宅総合補償）に必ず加入する必要があります。
また、本学の留学生と一緒に同居する際にも、「留学生住宅総合補償」に加 入しなければなりません。
加入の手続きについては、不動産業者に行く前に、必ず自分の所属の学務 係にて手続きの申請と、住宅総合補償の支払を済ませてください。
＜金沢大学が保証人になる対象・条件＞
◦在留資格「留学」を保持し、金沢大学の学籍を持つ、本学の留学生であ ること。
◦金沢大学を入学し卒業するまでの期間が対象。

Wheninternationalstudentsplantosignacontractforaprivateapartment, KanazawaUniversitywillundertakejointguarantyoftheinternational student’sleaseundercertainconditions.Thisiscalledthe"Institutional GuarantySystemforInternationalStudentstoRentApartments"（Kanazawa University Guarantor System.）
Tousethis,internationalstudentsneedtoapplyfortheKanazawaUniversity GuarantorSystemandcompletepaymentofthe"ComprehensiveRenter’s InsuranceforForeignStudentsStudyinginJapan"（Housing Insurance.）
To apply for these, you need to complete procedures at your student affairs section and pay the housing insurance fee before you visit a real estate agent.
Eligibility and Regulation for KU Guarantor System
◦Theapplicantmusthavetheresidencystatusof"Student"andbe registeredasastudentatKanazawaUniversity.
◦The"KUGuarantorSystem"willcovertheperiodfromtheapplicant’s admissiondatetotheirgraduationdate.

◦TheKUGuarantorSystemwillbevalidduringtheindemnityperiodofthe applicant’shousinginsurance.

＜注意＞
◦「住宅総合補償」の加入後に発行される「留学生住宅総合補償加入者控」の 補償期間を必ず確認し、在学中の住宅契約の期間に、補償が切れることの 無いようにしてください。
◦もし、補償期間が終了してしまうが、まだアパートに住み続けたい場合に は、補償が切れる約 1 ヶ月前を目処に、必ず自分の所属の学務係にて「住 宅総合補償・継続申請」を行ってください。進学や留年など在籍期間が変
更する場合、「在籍期間変更届」を提出する必要があります。必ず自分の所
属学務係にて手続きを行ってください。
◦友人を仮住まいさせる場合（契約書に友人の名前がない場合）には、2 週間 を超えての仮住まいは絶対にさせないでください。また、友人はその住所 を住民登録することは絶対にできません。住所を貸す側も、借りる側も法 律で処罰されます。
◦同じ物件に他者と同居する場合、契約書には必ず同居者全員の名前が必
要となります。家族と一緒に住む場合も同様です。必ず同居者全員の名前
を記入してから、大学に書類を提出してください。無断同居は禁止です。
同居者は必ず住宅総合補償に加入しなければなりません（配偶者・子供を 除く）。無断同居していた場合、事故などがおこった場合に「住宅総合補償」
が適用されない場合があり大変危険です。必ず全員が契約し、住宅の保険 に加入してください。

◦Wewillissuethe"CertificateofKUHousingInsurance"afterwecompletethe proceduresforyourregistration.Pleasechecktheguaranteeperiodwritten onthecertificateandmakesurethatitcoversthedurationofyourtimeat theuniversity.
◦Ifyouintendtocontinuetoliveinthesameresidenceevenafteryour insuranceexpires,youwillhavetosubmitthe"ApplicationforContinuation ofKUHousingInsurance"toyourstudentaffairssectionaboutamonth beforetheexpirationdate.If you extend your period of enrollment, you will need to complete the procedures at your student affairs section and submit the "Notification for extension of the period of enrollment" form.
◦Ifyourfriendsareaskingtoliveinyourapartmentastemporaryvisitors（in whichcasetheirnameswillnotbeonthecontract,）you may not allow them to stay in your apartment for more than two weeks. Your friends MAY NOT register your address at Kanazawa City Hall. If you allow them to stay at your place without the right procedures, both you and your friends will face legal penalties.
◦It is required that all residents’ names are listed on the contract,evenyou livewithyourfamily.Makesuretosubmitacontractdocumentwithall residents’namesincluded.Neverlivewithotherswithoutacontract.All membersneedtotakeouthousinginsurance,withtheexceptionofyour wifeandchildren.Ifyoulivewithotherswithoutpermissionandanaccident happens,itmaynotbecoveredbyyourinsuranceandmaycauseamajor problem.All residents must purchase their own residence insurance.
