<<Program for Registering the Elderly as Those Requiring Support in Case of Disaster>>
Senior citizens requiring support in case of disaster are registered, and the list is provided to local communities and welfare commissioners, as part of municipal eff orts to reinforce the elderly support system.
[Requirements] Elderly persons who fall under any of the following conditions:
1)Those living at home and classified as Long-term Care Required: Care Levels 3 to 5)
2)Registered elderly persons living alone
3)Those living at home and certified as having a serious physical or mental disability
4)Those who with equivalent to the above-mentioned conditions

Telephone counseling service is provided to caregivers to relieve the worries they may have.

Subsidy for visiting barber and hairdressing is provided to elderly persons who have difficulty in going out for hairdressing.

Up to 6 subsidy tickets (The number of tickets varies depending on the month when the tickets are issued.) [Fees paid by users] Costs for haircuts/hairdressing
<<Taxi Fare Subsidy Program>>
Senior citizens who are living alone and are unable to use public transport can receive a subsidy for taxi fares.
[Requirements] Applicants must be those living alone and certifi ed as support required/nursing care required, or those living alone and meeting any of the following conditions.
1)Those certifi ed as support required/nursing care required 2)Those eligible to a taxi fare subsidy for the disabled 3)Those aged under 18

<<Subsidy Program for Purchase of Walking Aid>>
A subsidy for purchase of a walking aid (“Silver Cart”) is provided to elderly persons who feel anxious about moving about.

■ Association of families with dementia patients
Families taking care of dementia patients meet once a month to exchange information and discuss their worries with one another.

次のすべてに該当する人(65歳以上の人は、障がい者手帳の交付時期により、受給できな い場合があります) ①県内在住 ②身体障がい者手帳1・2級か療育手帳A(IQ35以下)
または、身体障がい者手帳3級かつ療育手帳B ③福祉施設、介護保険施設に入所してい ない ④障がい児福祉手当、特別障がい者手当、経過的福祉手当を受給していない ⑤所 得制限の額を超えていない/障がいの程度に応じて月額7,000円か16,100円/障がい 福祉課
20歳以上で身体障がい者手帳2級程度以上の障がいが重複するか、これと同等程度の障 がいがあり、家庭で常時特別な介護を必要とする人(所得制限あり)。ただし、障がい者支援 施設そのほかこれに類する施設に入所か病院などに3か月を超えて入院している人は除く

Eligibility: Toyota City residents holding an Identification Booklet for the Physically Disabled, a Developmental Disability Handbook (Ryoiku-techo), or an Identification Booklet for the Mentally Disabled.
Details: The amount of the allowance varies depending on the type and degree of the disability.

2)The age of elementary school to under 65*1

4)Persons not being admitted into a welfare facility or a long-term care insurance facility (excluding those being receiving short-stay service at such a facility)

2)Persons who possess an Identification Booklet for the Physically Disabled (Levels 1 or 2); a Developmental Disability Handbook (Ryoiku-techo) Type A (IQ 35 or below); or both an Identification Booklet for the Physically Disabled (Level 3) and a Developmental Disability Handbook (Ryoiku-techo) Type B
3)Persons not being admitted into a welfare facility or a long-term care insurance facility
4)Individuals who have not received Allowance for Children with Disabilities, Special Disability Allowance, or transitional welfare benefits
5)Persons whose income does not exceed the income limits

Eligibility: Residents aged 20 or over who have multiple disabilities (Level 2 or higher of the Identification Booklet for the Physically Disabled) or who have equivalent level qualifications, and who require constant special nursing care at home.
(Income restrictions apply.) However, those being admitted into a support center for the disabled or any equivalent facility and those in a hospital for three months or more are not eligible for the allowance.

Eligibility: Children under 20 years old who have a physical disability of Level 1 (or part of Level 2) and who require constant care at home (Income restrictions apply.) However, children who have been admitted into a support center for children with disabilities or any equivalent facility are not eligible for the allowance.

Eligibility: Persons who parent at home children under 20 years old who have a physical disability of Level 3 or a developmental disability of Type B and who living at home (Income restrictions apply.) However, the parenting persons are not eligible for the allowance if the aforementioned children have been admitted into a facility for physically-disabled children or any equivalent facility are not eligible for the allowance.

Eligibility: Persons who became disabled due to injuries or diseases while enrolled in the National Pension, before they turn 20, or between 60 and 64 years old after their withdrawal from the National Pension

Eligibility: Persons who have a visual disability of Level 1 or 2 (Identification Booklet for the Physically Disabled), and persons who have a Level 1 to Level 3 lower limb or trunk function disability*1
Details: Financial aid (up to ¥400,000) to help cover the costs of house reform to make life at home easier (bathroom/lavatory reforms, slope construction, etc.) for the disabled person.
