1. Students will understand research methods such as questionnaire and interview.
2. Students will be able to plan and conduct their own research projects by using different research methods.
3. Students will be able to analyse qualitative data.

■Course Description／講義の概要
In this course, major research methods, such as questionnaire and interview, will be explained. Qualitative research methods are important and effective when we would like to understand complicated human activities which cannot be expressed statistically. In this course, students are asked to attend a series of seminars to obtain basic knowledge of research methods, and to conduct their own questionnaire survey and interview.
この授業では、アンケートやインタビューなどの主要な調査手法について、幅広く学ぶ。質的調査手法は人々の多様 な言動を理解するのに効果的であり重要である。この科目では、学生は講義を聞いて調査手法を理解し、その上で、
習得した調査手法を用いて実際にアンケートやインタビューをおこなう。

・アンケート調査準備のためのドラフトの作成（2種類、各ドラフト3−6時間） Drafts of questionnaires (two types, 3-6 hours each)
・インタビュー調査準備のためのドラフト作成（3−4種類、各ドラフト2−5時間） Drafts of interview schedules (3-4 types, 2-5 hours each)
・アンケート調査練習後のデータまとめ（5−8時間） Data of questionnaire (5-8 hours)

■Course Goals／到達目標
(1) To be able to understand the diversity and complexity of Chinese society and culture from the perspective of cultural anthropology.
(2) To be able to have a general understanding of the social structure and current state of Chinese society.
（1）中国の社会と文化の多様性、複雑さを文化人類学の観点から理解できるようになること。
（2）中国社会の成り立ちと現状について大まかに把握できるようになることを目標とする。
■Course Description／講義の概要
In this course, I will focus especially on the society and culture of modern China. The course will start with the basic knowledge to be able to think about Chinese society and culture based on facts rather than fragmented knowledge and impressions.
Students will be recommended to take the examination for the “ 中国百科検定 ”.
Student interaction and participation are a part of this course. This will help to develop skills for discussion and presentation.
本科目では、特に現代中国の社会と文化に焦点を当てる。断片的な知識や印象ではなく、事実に基づいて中国の社会 や文化について考えることができるように基本的な事柄から学習する。
受講者には「中国百科検定」の受験を推奨する。
本科目はグループワークやディスカッションなど、受講生による授業参加を行いながら展開する。具体的な事例や自 分の身近な問題・経験を通して現代社会の事象を捉えることで、自分の言葉で自分の考えを表現する力を高めること ができる。

Students are expected to have a thorough understanding of the contents of the previous lecture before class. At least three hours of study is required to review the lecture content and prepare for the next lecture.

■Course Description／講義の概要
This course is designed to introduce socio-cultural characteristics of Korea and tourism phenomenon in Korea and Japan. Precisely, this course will cover themes and topics such as tourism and culture policy, tourism bound for Korean peninsula, image and representation, dark tourism, Korean tourists' interest of gourmet in Japan, Hanryu in Japan and Korean town in Japan.
本科目では、韓国の社会・文化に関する基礎的知識と韓国と日本における観光現象を紹介する。具体的には、韓国の 観光および文化政策、「朝鮮／韓国」への観光、イメージと表象、ダークツーリズム、日本を訪れる韓国人観光客の食 への関心、韓流、コリアンタウン等、多様なテーマ及びトピックを取りあげる。
