The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, the Embassy of Colombia in Japan and the Colombian Government Trade Bureau (Proexport) jointly with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) and the Inter-American Development Bank – Office in Asia (IDB), are pleased to invite you to the seminar “Investment Opportunities in Colombia”. The seminar will be held at the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, 9th Floor Auditorium, on Friday July 2nd, from 10:00 to 12:00 hrs.
The seminar will be addressed by the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of Colombia, H.E. Luis Guillermo Plata, and will cover essential information regarding the latest developments in the business environment, the investment opportunities in the “Productive Transformation Program in potential World Class Sectors”, and the different incentives granted by the government for foreign investors.
The presentation will serve to deepen your understanding about why Colombia is now in the scope of international investors as a source for new business and investment opportunities. Colombia was chosen recently as the most “business friendly” country in Latin America by the World Bank in its publication Doing Business 2010.
