GENERAL INFORMATION
SURFOIL is a blend of special surfactant with phytobland (nonphytotoxic) oil. It is designed for use in weed killing postemergent sprays, fungicides, and insecticides to increase contact activity, aid in penetration, and provide uniform coverage.
NOTE: SURFOIL increases the activity of herbicides and therefore care should be exercised when herbicide sprays containing SURFOIL are applied to new crop varieties or highly inbred crop lines not previously treated with SURFOIL. Care is recommended when sprays are applied under very humid conditions or under circumstances when herbicides tend to be more active. In new uses it is recom- mended that small test areas be treated before undertaking large scale applications.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
PREPARATION AND APPLICATION OF SPRAY EMULSIONS: Fill spray tank half full with water, add the proper amount of herbicide while agitating and then add SURFOIL. Continue to agitate while finishing filling and agitate before and during each application to insure a uniform spray emulsion. Carefully read and follow the directions contained on the label of the herbicide with which SURFOIL is to be used. For local recommendations consult compe- tent agricultural authority.
PRODUCT USE RATES Herbicides:
By ground: 1 to 2 pints per acre in 10 to 20 gallons of water.
By air: 1 to 2 pints per acre in 5 to 10 gallons of water.
Fungicides:
By ground: 1 pint per acre in 10 to 20 gallons of water.
By air: 1 pint per acre in 10 gallons of water.
Insecticides:
By ground: 4 to 16 ounces per acre in 2 to 5 gallons of water. CDA, Low Volume: 4 to 16 ounces per acre with water for sufficient coverage.
By air: 4 to 16 ounces per acre with water for sufficient coverage.
Read and follow all information on the label of the herbicide with which SURFOIL is used. Keep this container tightly closed and DO NOT allow water to be introduced into it.
DO NOT CONTAMINATE WATERS USED FOR DOMESTIC CONSUMPTION OR BY ANIMALS, WILDLIFE AND AQUATIC LIFE, OR WATER FOR IRRIGATION PURPOSES.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
STORAGE: Store in original container only. Protect product from freezing.
Prevent water from being introduced into the contents of this package. Do not use, spill, or store near heat or open flame.
DISPOSAL: Triple rinse container and pour rinsate into the mixing tank. Do not reuse empty container and dispose of it in accordance with state, local and federal regulations. DO NOT REUSE EMPTY CONTAINER FOR ANY PURPOSE.
