DIRECTIONS FOR USE

It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Do not apply this product in any way that will contact workers or other persons; either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe; consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation. Always read this FIFRA 2(ee) bulletin and the entire label on the product container before using this product.

DuPont will not be responsible for losses or damages resulting from the use of this product in any manner not specifically instructed by DuPont. User assumes all risks associated with uses not specified by the label or DuPont 2(ee) instructions.

DuPont^TMVYDATE® L Insecticide/Nematicide is recommended for control of brown marmorated stink bug in apples, pears, peppers and tomatoes.

HOW TO USE

Apply 1.5 to 3 pints per acre of VYDATE® L by ground, or air (tomato and pepper only) when insect populations are at threshold.

Repeat applications at 7 day intervals as needed. The minimum application interval for apples, tomatoes and pepper is 7 days. Only one application can be made to pears. Brown marmorated stink bugs are very mobile pests. They may reinfect the treated area quickly. If an application is needed prior to the 7 day minimum application interval, use a different insecticide. Thorough coverage improves performance. Use of a wetting agent can improve coverage. Coverage can be also be improved by making ground applications using at least 20 gallons of water per acre for applications to pepper and tomato. For ground applications to apple and pear, it is recommended to use 50 gallons of water per acre. Use at least 5 gallons of water per acre when making applications to tomatoes and peppers by air. For apples and pears, use ground applications only.

PRECAUTIONS

Apple: Do not apply within 14 days of harvest. Do not apply more than 8 pints (1 gallon) of VYDATE® L per acre per crop. Do not make more than 4 applications per crop. Do not apply at bloom or within 30 days after bloom, as fruit thinning may occur.

Pear: Do not apply within 14 days of harvest. Do not apply more than 8 pints (1 gallon) of VYDATE® L per acre per crop. Do not make more than 1 application per crop. Do not apply at bloom or within 30 days after bloom, as fruit thinning may occur.

Pepper: Do not apply within 7 days of harvest. Do not apply more than 24 pints (3 gallon) of VYDATE® L per acre per crop. Do not make more than 8 applications per crop.

Tomato: Do not apply within 3 days of harvest. Do not apply more than 32 pints (4 gallon) of VYDATE® L per acre per crop. Do not make more than 7 foliar, drip or soil injection applications per season in tomatoes (or 8 total applications per season including a soil at plant/transplant application).

For all crops, do not enter or allow worker entry into treated areas during the Restricted Entry Interval (REI) of 48 hours.

Do not use in Suffolk and Nassau Counties, Long Island, New York.
