DIRECTIONS FOR USE

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Do not apply this product in any way that will contact workers or other persons; either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe; consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation. Always read this FIFRA 2(ee) bulletin and the entire label on the product container before using this product.

DuPont will not be responsible for losses or damages resulting from the use of this product in any manner not specifically instructed by DuPont. User assumes all risks associated with uses not specified by the label or DuPont 2(ee) instructions.

Make three to six applications of DuPont^TMVYDATE® L insecticide/nematicide at the rate of 1/4 to 1 gallon per grove acre.

Treatments should be injected through a microsprinkler irrigation system that is designed for chemical injection. Initiate treatments in the spring when soil temperatures at 12 inches depth have reached 50 degrees F. Continue soil treatments until soil temperatures drop below 50 degrees F. Applications can be made 14 days apart if using a 1/4 to 1/2 gal/A application rate, or can be made at 30 day intervals if using application rates above 1/2 gal/A.

If a VYDATE® L application is made during a normal irrigation cycle, injection should be made during the last third of the cycle.

Irrigation systems should run a sufficient amount of time prior to VYDATE® L injection to have all emitters functioning properly.

Following injection, the system should be flushed for a minimum of 10 minutes and a maximum of 20 minutes after the last emitter contains VYDATE® L Allow 24 hours before performing the next irrigation cycle. For best results, the microsprinkler emitter pattern should provide full coverage of the root zone.

VYDATE® L should not be applied at the same time that a drip irrigation line clean out product is being used as performance may be reduced.

Do not apply more than 3 gallons of VYDATE® L per acre per growing season.

Do not make more than a total of 6 applications per year.

Do not apply more than 1 gallon in any 30 day period.

Do not graze livestock in treated orchards.

This product is toxic to bees and should not be applied when bees are in the crop area.

Do not enter or allow worker entry into treated areas during the restricted entry interval (REI) of 48 hours.
