Summary The present study was investigated the fertility of 1. ewes after embryo transfer of fresh, frozen-thawed and vitrified ovine embryos collected on 0ῌ1 days after artificial insemination with fresh-diluted or frozen-thawed ram semen by the simple superovulation treatment during the period of +332 to ,**3. There was no significant di#erences among the pregnant and lambing rates after transfer of fresh (.*.3 and -0..ῌ), frozen-thawed (,0.- and ,0.-ῌ) and vitrified (,1.- and ,1.-ῌ) embryos. However, the twining rate (--.-ῌ) using vitrified embryos was significantly (P῍*.*,/) lower than that (21./ῌ) of fresh embryos. From a total of 1. ewes transferred embryos, ,, ewes lambed (-*.3ῌ) with 0+.3ῌ (+-/,, heads) of twining rate. Although the present fertility were still low (,1ῌ-0ῌ), the results indicated that lamb production was possible by transfer of frozen-thawed and vitrified ovine embryos using laparoscope.. ῍ 4 ῍.
