Hello, everyone. I’m from Hiroshima, Japan. Some of our streetcars
connect two famous World Heritage Sites, Itsukushima Shrine and the
Genbaku Dome. Just three days after the atomic bomb was dropped, some
of the streetcars started to run again and this encouraged the people. We
are proud of our streetcars. Do you have any interesting streetcars or trams
in your city?
Wonderful Trams in Strasbourg, France
Hi! In the downtown area of my city, we have wonderful trams. In the
past, we had terrible traffic jams. Therefore, we introduced the trams and
restricted car access to the area. These changes have reduced air pollution,
and the city has become a more beautiful place. Trams are what we really
need in the twenty-first century.

Hello there! Various kinds of old streetcars run in my city. Many of them
are restored ones. I heard Japanese streetcars were once among them.

これは I come from Hiroshima, Japan. と言っても同じ意味になります。
be from も come from も生まれがどこかを表す表現です。これに対して、I came from Hiroshima. というと「今広島から来ました。」と 1 回きりの過去の動作を表します。また、 be from や come from は亡くなってしまった人の場合、was from や came from を使います。

Just three days after the atomic bomb was dropped, some of the streetcars started to run again. 「原爆が落とされたわずか３日後に、路面電車の中には再び運行を始 めたものもあった。」
∼の部分には文がくることもあります。「∼した３日後に」という意味で、全体で時を表し ます。three days の部分は soon や two minutes, five years など日にち以外のものもくる ことがあります。
