講義目的及び到達目標 The purpose of this course is to help students improve their English vocabulary, gram mar, listening and reading skills and achieve a higher score on the TOEIC test.
講義内容・授業計画 I Course Description
Students will develop the advanced skills necessary for a high score on the TOEIC test. They will (1) do listening exercises such as shadowing as well as dictation; (2) do more rapid-reading practices; and (3) understand the various types of question patterns and learn how to organize their time effectively to solve questions. Students will also cultiv ate communicative competence in English for practical use through pair and group wo rk, by using English passages from the TOEIC test.

成績評価の基準・方法 Students will be evaluated based on their TOEIC test scores (40%), participation in clas s (20%), vocabulary quizzes (20%), and review quizzes (20%).
履修上の注意・履修要件 Students are required to attend at least ten lessons to get credits. They are strongly rec ommended to join the first lesson to get more detailed information about the course. T hey need to prepare for the next lesson, do the required homework, and review the pre vious lesson. When missing class, students can check the homework on UNIVERSAL P ASSPORT.
All classes in this course will be taught in-person, but as precautions against COVID-19 , they may be taught online, and students will need equipment to take online classes, s uch as PC, tablet and Wi-Fi access.
