The room acoustics of a fan-shaped auditorium was examined by a geometrical acoustics method. This room was designed to avoid the acoustics problem by concave curve and to maintain speech transmission performance. As result of measurement, after this room had been constructed, it was checked that the auditorium has sufficient performance to speech.
Morever, had done comparison of actual measured value with predicted value, to find out validity of geometrical acoustic analysis. As a result, early reflection was correlated with measured value and predicted value, and it was confirmed that accuracy of sound field estimation is good except low frequency sound.
