Maki,Wasada,andHashimoto(2003)foundarelativelyhighcorrelationbetween thescoresontheMinimalEnglishTest(MET),W鮎chtheydevelopedthemselves,and thescoresontheUniversityEntranCeExamination(EnglishPart)2002,admimisteredby theUhiversityEntranCeExaminationCenter(r=・68,P<・05,andn=154)・1(HereaRer, theUniversityEntranCeE丈amination(EnglishPart)isabbreviatedastheCenterTest (CT).)Further,Maki,Ito,MiyamOtO,Oku,Uchibori,andUeda(2004)foundastrong correlationbetweenthescoresontheMETandthescoresontheCT2003(r=.72,P <.05,andn=629).Inthesetwostmeys,theyprovidedacorrelationanalysistothe scoresontheCTandthescoresontheMET.AsthesubiectstooktheCTinJanuaryand theMETbetweenAprilandJulyofthesameyear,thereisatimespanOfatleastthree monthsbetweentheadminlsteringofthetests.
