The American Literature Society of Japan Copyright Policy

1 The American Literature Society of Japan (ALSJ) holds the copyright to all articles published in the journals of the society, Studies in American Literature (『アメリカ文学研究』) and The Journal of the American Liter-ature Society of Japan. ALSJ holds rights to publish, copy, or republish arti-cles in any medium.

2 Authors of the articles may reprint their articles on printing medium with the written permission of ALSJ. Acknowledgement of publication in the ALSJ journals must be given.

3 Permission to reprint or post materials online will be granted to the authors under the following conditions:

3.1 The online media may include writers personal Web pages, the Web pages of the institutions to which they belong, or the Web pages of research fund organizations.

3.2 Copyright notice must appear on the first page.
