Symptoms of Diabetes
It is called a lifestyle-related illness.
This is a disorder of the metabolism.
This results in:
・Excessive urine with a high glucose content
・Excessive thirst
・Dehydration
・Simple wounds tend to fester badly.
・Development severe acidosis.
Environmental Factors of Diabetes
More patients;
are in the more developed areas of the world through
①technological achievement
②stress and
③wealth
Tend to avoid physical exercise
Tend to overeat
Nature of Diabetes Mellitus
1.Absolute (juvenile-onset) diabetes
2.Relative (mature-onset) diabetes
Absolute (juvenile-onset) Diabetes
The pancreas stops producing insulin.
It prevents glucose from entering to the cells.
It results starvation of the cells.
It affects the β cells ( which secretes insulin) of the pancreas.
※ It turns into a vicious circle.
Relative (mature-onset) diabetes
This diabetes are malfunction in the nervous, endocrine and digestive system
Secretion of Insulin at the wrong time.
Tissues become less responsive to Insulin.
⇒The blood sugar level rises to a high level.
Medical remedies of Diabetes
There is no positive system of cure.
Control of the symptoms through 1. dietary controls
2. daily use of Insulin and other Drugs.
⇒The disease itself is not affected by this, may increase in severity.

It increases parasympathetic activity.
It enhances the functions of digestive system.

It increases the oxygen level of blood and It decreases the CO2 level of blood.

⇒It improves the symptoms of severe acidosis.
②It reduces irritability.
⇒Free from vicious circle of stress.

Important point to remember
Most people don't come to yoga until
they realize that “medicines are no answer” to diabetes.
Combinations of yoga and medicines are the best way to attack diabetic problems.
