A tie rod was removed from the fuel assembly by moving the unused fuel investigation assist device from the cask decontamination pit onto the operation floor of the common pool. Then the

observation of the fuel appearance and detailed investigation were conducted. Tomorrow (August 29), the appearance of another unused fuel will be observed.
