Have you ever seen the Japanese writing used in Japan? Japanese writing consists of “Hiragana”, “Katakana” and “Kanji”.
The Japanese language is a member of the Altaic family of languages, and it has many words in common with Korean and Chinese. However, its syntax is quite different from that of Chinese.
Japanese is written using Chinese characters in combination with two syllabaries “Hiragana” and “Katakana”.
The Chinese characters, “Kanji”, all have meanings, while “Hiragana” and “Katakana” represent sounds only.
☆Hiragana, Katakana（ひらがな、カタカナ）
The hiragana sound syllabary was developed from the cursive writing of whole Kanji. The katakana sound syllabary was developed from parts of Kanji
