 学生寮（柑紀寮）は、集団生活を通じて人間形成を図

る教育の場として設けられています。

 留学生・専攻科生を含む男子寮６棟と女子寮１棟の学

生寮が校内に設置されており、女子学生６６名、男子学

生４６７名の合計５３３名が共同生活をしています。１

部屋は高学年では１名を、低学年では２名を定員とし、

学習机、書棚、ベッド、ロッカー等が据え付けられてい

ます。また、各寮室に個人電話機が置かれ、寮生と保護

者の連絡に利用できます。各階の補食室には冷蔵庫・電

子レンジ、洗濯室には洗濯機・乾燥機、談話室にはテレ

ビ・ビデオ・エアコンが設置されています。

 本校では、第１、２学年の男子学生に対して全寮制を

採用し、集団生活を通して自立と協調の精神を身につけ、

相互の協力と信頼を図り、豊かな人間性を養えるように

努めています。各階にいる上級生の指導寮生が寮生活や

学習の指導にあたり、また寮生で組織された寮生会を中

心に学寮生活に彩りを添えるよう様々な行事等を催して

います。

The dormitories are educational facilities where students

build character through communal living.

There are 467 male and 66 female students living together

in the seven dormitories on the campus: six for males and

one for females. The boarders include overseas students

and those belonging to the Advanced Faculty. Two

lower-graders share a room, while each upper-grader has a room

to oneself. The rooms are furnished with desks,

bookshelves, beds, and lockers. In addition, there are

personal telephones in the rooms so that the students can

easily have phone calls with their families and friends.

Each floor has a refrigerator and a microwave oven in the

supplementary kitchen, washing machines and tumble

dryers in the laundry room, and a TV set, a VCR and an air

conditioner in the lounge.

All male 1st- and 2nd-year students are to live in the

dormitory. Encouraged to help and trust each other in their

dormitory life, the students are expected to learn the spirit of

independence and cooperation, and develop a well-rounded

personality. On each floor, some elder students, appointed

as floor leaders, give younger students useful advice on

their life and studies. Furthermore, the Dormitory Student

Council plans and holds various events to liven up the

dormitory life.
