CROP PEST RATE OF APPLICATION

Soybean Cocklebur, Jimsonweed, Lambsquarters, Pigweed

3.2 oz/A

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Authority XL is to be used in conjunction with a planned POST herbicide program; AUTHORITY XL will provide early season control or suppression to reduce early season weed competition. Authority XL may be used in Fall application, Early Pre-plant, Early Pre-plant Burndown, Preplant Incorporated, Preemergence in No-Till, Minimum-Till, Conventional Tillage and Conservation Tillage systems. Where weedy vegetation is present at application, an appropriate burndown herbicide such as glyphosate, glufosinate, paraquat and certain AIM tankmixes are recommended. Apply 3.2 oz/A of Authority XL on soils with a soil pH no greater than 7.6. Where lime has not been deeply incorporated, soil may exhibit significantly higher soil pH values in the upper 3 inches of soils. Composite soil samples taken at a 6-8 inch depth may not reflect the elevated pH near the soil surface. In these cases, shallow sampling the upper 3 inches is advised. Corn may be planted 10 months after an application of Authority XL at 3.2 oz/A.

RESTRICTIONS: Do not use Authority XL at 3.2 oz/A on soils with soil pH greater than 7.6.

Determine soil pH by laboratory analysis using a 1:1 soil:water suspension. Do not apply this product through any type of irrigation system. Do not feed treated soybean forage or soybean hay to livestock. Do not follow AUTHORITY XL with a post-emergence application of

another chlorimuron-ethyl containing herbicide in the same cropping season.
