Machine tools are the mother machines giving birth to new mechanical devices.
They cut metals into precision parts such as automotive components, electrical
parts, computer gadgets, medical equipment, etc. Therefore, machine tools have a
critical role in manufacturing industry. Their performance determines the quality of
final products. Understanding the significance of our job as a machine tool builder,
we value human relationships based on mutual trust with people around the globe.
New technology, new products, and new successful customers arise from these
re-lationships. Since our foundation, our company has been consistently designing and
building machine tools that reflect voices of the customers. In the 21st century, we

革
大正 11 年 8 月 滝澤脩作、 滝澤七三郎兄弟が、 ボール盤、 旋盤等の各種工作機械の製造販売を目的として、 大阪市に個人経営で瀧澤鐵工所を創立。 昭和 8 年 3 月 創業者兄弟の郷里、 岡山県玉島町 ( 現倉敷市玉島 ) に玉島工場を新設。 昭和 10 年 4 月 大阪府布施市 ( 現東大阪市 ) に布施工場を新設し、 本社を移転すると同時に合名会社に改組。 昭和 13 年 3 月 大阪府若江村 ( 現東大阪市 ) に若江工場を新設。 昭和 19 年 10 月 玉島工場に設備集中、 本社を移転し、 株式会社に改組。 昭和 21 年 4 月 平和産業転換工場として、 各種食品機器、 産業機器等の製造販売及び工作機械の修理加工を開始。 昭和 25 年 6 月 工作機械の製造を再開。 昭和 37 年 9 月 大阪証券取引所市場第二部に上場。 昭和 38 年 2 月 精密旋盤の本格的対米輸出を開始。 昭和 38 年 5 月 東京証券取引所市場第二部に上場。 昭和 39 年 4 月 岡山県吉備町 ( 現岡山市北区撫川 ) に岡山工場を新設。 昭和 41 年 10 月 本社を岡山工場に移転。 昭和 43 年 8 月 数値制御装置付旋盤の生産を開始。 昭和 46 年 9 月 台湾に普通旋盤の製造販売を目的として、 台湾滝澤機械股份有限公司 ( 現 台灣瀧澤科技股份有限公司 ( 連結子会社 )) を設立。 昭和 46 年 11 月 工作機械の部品販売 ・ サービス業務を目的として、 滝沢鉄工テクノサービス株式会社を設立。昭和 54 年 8 月 米国に販売 ・ サービスを目的とする現地法人 TAKISAWA MACHINE TOOL USA, CORP. ( 後 TAKISAWA U.S.A., INC.) を設立。 昭和 56 年 10 月 立型マシニングセンターの本格的生産販売を開始。
昭和 58 年 4 月 本社工場敷地内に本社社屋及び FMS 工場を新設。
平成元年 1 月 英国の工作機械販売商社 ROCKWELL MACHINE TOOLS LTD. ( 後 TAKISAWA U.K. LTD.) を買収。 平成 2 年 12 月 ドイツに当社製品の技術サポートを目的として、 現地法人 TAKISAWA DEUTSCHLAND GmbH を設立。 平成 3 年 5 月 オランダに販売 ・ サービスを目的とする現地法人 TAKISAWA BENELUX B.V. を設立。 平成 3 年 12 月 英国にテクニカルセンターを新設。 平成 6 年 3 月 玉島工場を本社工場へ集約後、 閉鎖し売却。 平成 8 年 2 月 TAKISAWA BENELUX B.V. を会社清算。 平成 9 年 3 月 滝沢鉄工テクノサービス株式会社へ第三工場及び附属建物を譲渡し、 生産の一部を移管。 平成 14 年 11 月 中国に台灣瀧澤科技股份有限公司より瀧澤科技投資股份有限公司を通じ、 製造を目的とする現 地法人上海瀧澤機電有限公司 ( 現上海欣瀧 澤機電有限公司 ( 連結子会社 )) を設立。 平成 15 年 2 月 滝沢鉄工テクノサービス株式会社を吸収合併。 平成 15 年 2 月 滝沢鉄工テクノサービス株式会社 ( 連結子会社 ) を新設分割。 平成 15 年 3 月 米国に販売 ・ サービスを目的とする現地法人 TAKISAWA, INC. ( 連結子会社 ) を設立。 平成 15 年 3 月 TAKISAWA U.S.A., INC. を会社清算。
平成 17 年 4 月 株式会社カスケードの株式を 190 株取得。 平成 17 年 12 月 上海瀧澤機電有限公司の出資持分を株式会社ミヤノに譲渡、 社名を上海瀧澤宮野機電有限公司 と変更し、 合弁会社化。 平成 20 年 8 月 本社工場敷地内に研究開発棟 （R&D センター） を新設。 平成 21 年 3 月 本社工場敷地内にパーツセンター棟を新設。 平成 21 年 4 月 中国に販売 ・ サービスを目的とする現地法人滝澤商貿 （上海） 有限公司を設立。 平成 21 年 7 月 株式会社カスケードを吸収合併。 平成 22 年 1 月 株式会社ミヤノが保有する上海瀧澤宮野機電有限公司の出資持分をすべて譲受することにより合弁を解消し、 社名を上海欣瀧澤機電有限公司に変更。 平成 23 年 2 月 インドネシアに販売支援 ・ サービスを目的とする現地法人 PT. TAKISAWA INDONESIA を設立。
平成 23 年 9 月 TAKISAWA U.K. LTD. （連結子会社、 平成 23 年 7 月 ROCKWELL MACHINE TOOLS LTD. に社名変更） を売却。 平成 24 年 1 月 本社工場敷地内に第 4 工場を新設。
平成 24 年 4 月 滝沢鉄工テクノサービス株式会社 （連結子会社） を吸収合併。
Aug, 1922 Brothers, Shusaku and Hichisaburo Takisawa, establish Takisawa Machine Tool in Osaka City as a private firm to manufacture and sell various machine tools such as drilling machines and lathes.
Mar, 1933 The founding brothers establish the Tamashima Plant in their hometown, Tamashima-cho (now Tamashima, Kurashiki City), Okayama Prefecture. Apr, 1935 Establishes the Fuse Plant newly in Fuse City (now HigashiOsaka City), Osaka Prefecture, and at the same time, moves the headquarters
and reorganizes to a general partnership.
Mar, 1938 Establishes the Wakae Plant in Wakae Village (now HigashiOsaka City), Osaka Prefecture.
Oct, 1944 Focuses the facilities on the Tamashima Plant, moves the headquarters and reorganizes to a corporation.
Apr, 1946 Begins the manufacture and sales of various food equipment and industrial equipment as a piece industry conversion plant, as well as repair and reworking of machine tools.
Jun, 1950 Restarts the manufacture of machine tools.
Sep, 1962 Lists on the Second Section of Osaka Securities Exchange. Feb, 1963 Begins export of precision lathes to the US in earnest. May, 1963 Lists on the Second Section of Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Apr, 1964 Establishes the Okayama Plant in Kibi-cho (now Natsukawa, Kita-ku, Okayama City), Okayama Prefecture. Oct, 1966 Moves the headquarters to the Okayama Plant.
Aug, 1968 Begins the production of lathes with numerical control units.
Sep, 1971 Establishes Taiwan Takisawa Machinery Co., Ltd. (now Taiwan Takisawa Technology Co., Ltd., a consolidated subsidiary) to manufacture and sell engine lathes in Taiwan.
Nov, 1971 Establishes Takisawa Techno Service Inc. to sell machine tool parts and to provide servicing.
Aug, 1979 Establishes local subsidiary TAKISAWA MACHINE TOOL USA, CORP. (later TAKISAWA U.S.A., INC.) to provide sales and services in the US. Oct, 1981 Begins production and sales of vertical machining centers in earnest.
Apr, 1983 Establishes a headquarters building and FMS Plant on the headquarters plant site.
Jan, 1989 Buys out ROCKWELL MACHINE TOOLS LTD. (later TAKISAWA U.K. LTD.) a United Kingdom trading company of machine tools. Dec, 1990 Establishes local subsidiary TAKISAWA DEUTSCHLAND GmbH to provide technical support for Takisawa products in Germany. May, 1991 Establishes local subsidiary TAKISAWA BENELUX B.V. to provide sales and services in Holland.
Dec, 1991 Establishes a technical center in the United Kingdom.
Mar, 1994 Closes and sells the Tamashima Plant after consolidating it into the headquarters plant. Feb, 1996 Liquidates TAKISAWA BENELUX B.V.
Mar, 1997 Transfers No.3 plant and ancillary buildings to Takisawa Techno Service Inc. as well as transfer of part of production.
Nov, 2002 Local corporation, Shanghai Takisawa Mechatronics Ltd. (now Shanghai Takisawa Mechatronics Ltd., a consolidated subsidiary) is established in China aiming at manufacture through Takisawa Technology Investment Co., Ltd. by Taiwan Takisawa Technology Co., Ltd. Feb, 2003 Takes over Takisawa Techno Service Inc.

Jan, 2010 Shanghai Takisawa Miyano Machinery Co., Ltd. (STM) dissolves the joint venture to Miyano Machinery Co., Ltd. (Miyano), by taking over all of the equity interest of STM owned by Miyano, and changes the company name to Shanghai Takisawa Mechatronics Ltd.
Feb, 2011 Establishes local corporation PT. TAKISAWA INDONESIA to provide sales support and service in Indonesia.

In the assembly lines arranged by the type of machines, the quality
assurance is taken place every process according to the machine
models, and the final general inspection is conducted with the laser
measuring equipment.
The quality assurance is the duty of TAKISAWA that produces
machine tools as mother machines. TAKISAWA acquired the ISO9001
in 1997. "Manufacturing highly reliable products" is the TAKISAWA's
quality policy. We will further address ourselves to manufacturing the
products with customers' confidence.

ＴＡＫＩＳＡＷＡは生産額の 52％ （単体、 2011 年 3月期）を海外へ輸出
しており、 台湾での現地生産、 インドでの合併会社、 各国からの部品
調達などの国際展開を行っています。 そして国際的な人間交流と技
術交流の場としてのＩＭＴＳ ( 米国 )、 ＥＭＯ ( 欧州 )、 ＪＩＭＴＯＦ (東京 )
をはじめ、 世界の著名な工作機械見本市へ参加しております。 また、
本社メカトロセンターをはじめ国内外のショールームはＴＡＫＩＳＡＷＡと
お客様とのホットな技術交流スペースとして、 最先端のＣＮＣ工作機械
等をいつでも実演稼動できる状態で展示し、 ＴＡＫＩＳＡＷＡの製品と
技術をその目でお確かめいただくと同時に、 技術相談やトレーニング

our plants. Other visitors include students from universities, technical
institutes and high schools. Our plants also host a number of trainees
from abroad whose education is sponsored in part by the Japanese
gov-ernment. Our own skilled personnel are dispatched regularly to train
others. Technical seminars are conducted at our technical center. These
activities exemplify our dedication to serving society.
