1.L中 学 校 英 語 基 本 語 に お け る 前 置 詞

現 行 の 「中 学 校 学 習 指 導 要 領 」 は,特 に 前 置 詞 に つ い て 言 及 し て い な い 。 し か し,新 語 の 数 の 合 計 で あ る900語 か ら1050語 ま で の 語 数 の 約 半 数 に 当 た る490語 を 最 も 基 本 的 な 語 と し て 定 め,「 中 学 校 学 習 指 導 要 領 」 の 付 録3に,別 表 と し て 示 し て い る 。 そ し て こ の490語 は ,「 い ず れ か の 学 年 の2内 容 に 特 に 定 め る 場 合 を 除 き,第1学 年,第2学 年 又 は 第3学 年 の う ち い ず れ か の 学 年 に お い て 指 導 す る 。」 と し て い る 。

こ の 別 表1に 示 さ れ た 基 本 語490語 の 中,前 置 詞 と し て 用 い ら れ る 語 は 次 の31語(ま た は32語)で あ る 。

1・2・ 中 学 校 一 年 生 用 英 語 教 科 書 に 現 わ れ た 前 置 詞

現 行 の 中 学 校 の 英 語 教 科 書 は,昭 和52年 に 改 訂 さ れ た 「中 学 校 学 習 指 導 要 領 」 に 準 拠 し て 作 成 さ れ て い る 。 現 在 中 学 校 で 使 用 さ れ て い る 英 語 の 文 部 省 検 定 済 教 科 書 は,中 学 校 用 教 科 書 目 録(文 部 省 刊)に 従}ぽ,次 の 5種 類 で あ る 。 順 序 は 中 学 校 用 教 科 書 目 録 に 掲 載 さ れ て い る 順 序 に 従 っ た 。 な お ・ 括 弧 内 の 記 号 は,引 用 の 便 宜 の た め に 任 意 に 付 け た も の で あ る 。

前 置 詞 と そ の 目 的 語 か ら 成 る 句 を 前 置 詞 句(prepositionalphrase)と い

う 。 目 的 語 は,多 く は 名 詞 ま た は 代 名 詞 で あ る が,そ の 他 の 品 詞 で あ る こ

と も あ る 。 一 年 生 用 教 科 書 の 本 文 に 現 わ れ た 文 例 の 前 置 詞 句 を 目 的 語 の 構 造 に 従 っ て 分 類 す る と 次 の よ う に な る 。 引 用 文 の 末 尾 の 括 弧 内 の ロ ー マ 字 は,1.2.で 述 べ た 教 科 書 の 略 号 で あ る 。 ま た ア ラ ビ ア 数 字 は 課 を 示 す 。
