The world has food problems. October 16th is World Food Day and many people think about them on the day. Around the world, there are a lot of poor and hungr y people. And many of them are children in＊Asia and Africa.
In Japan, an event was held for World Food Day by a volunteer group in 2017. In this event, people took pictures of＊rice balls and put them on the website of the group. And then the＊supporting companies＊donated one hundred yen for each picture to the group.
Many people joined this event to help the poor children in Asia and Africa, and so the group got a lot of money. Now, the money is used to buy school lunches for them.

Sophia had a dog named Rocky. Rocky was ver y old. They were best friends and were always together even in bed at night.
One day, Rocky became sick. Sophia wanted him to get better, so she took care of him ever y day. But Rocky died when Sophia was five years old. She （ ） her best friend.
