Abstract
This article conducts micro video analysis of collaborative activities for building the shrine pavilion in Dosojin festival in Nozawa-onsen village. By comparative analysis on several related scenes from viewpoints of both membership and materiality, it illustrates descriptively how participants within on-going activities solve such highly situated problem as who among participants is adequate for taking up particular work and what sort of operation is suitable for executing the work.
