Detailed analyses of multi-functional carbon materials toward high-performance supercapacitor electrodes

学位論文の要旨 Abstract of Thesis

The doctoral thesis addresses multi-functional carbons, such as porous carbons and heteroatoms-doped carbons, for supercapacitor (SC) electrode materials. First, the histories of porous carbons and SCs were mentioned.

Then, the author discussed the evaluation of electrochemical performance of SCs electrode materials elaborately to provide exact information on the electrochemical properties of the obtained carbon samples in the following discussion. The unique processes of multi-functional carbons, such as nitrogen, boron-doped porous carbons, and highly porous carbons by carbonizing imine-based covalent-organic frameworks (COFs), boron-based COFs (COF- 5), and zinc-based metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), were developed toward SC electrode materials. The detailed characterization of COFs/MOFs and their variants were discussed for all the three carbon samples. Finally, their electrochemical performance as SC electrode materials were evaluated to verify the practical feasibility.
