意見・主張パターン
1. 簡潔に、明確に、自分の意見を述べる ( I think .... / In my opinion, etc. )
• 理由その１ ( First, .... )
• 理由その２ ( Second, .... / too / also / in addition )
• 理由その３ ( Third, ... )
2. 意見を繰り返す ( So, / That is why ... / Because of these reasons ) 、又は未来志向でポジティ ブなメッセージを。
例1）石川県公立高校H19入試問題「次の石川県に関する意見に対して、あなたはどのように考えますか。 あなたの考えを5文以上の英語で書きなさい。」 “ Ishikawa is a good place to live. “
I think that Ishikawa is a good place to live. First, the people are warm and kind. Second, we can buy good food at reasonable prices, especially fresh fish and vegetables. Third, there are many places for families to visit and spend time such as parks, art museums, libraries, beaches and so on. I am very happy and proud that I live in Ishikawa.
思い出・説明パターン 1. 何に関することが明確に述べる
1.1. その事に関係する事（思い出・習慣・事実・理由など）を一つ挙げる
1.1.1. 前述したことについて、具体例や体験などを示しながら説明・描写する 1.1.1.1. 更に詳しく説明する （又は、もう一つ違うポイントを付け加える） 2. 最後は未来志向でポジティブなメッセージを。
例2）石川県公立高校H20入試問題「あなたが好きな教科を1つ取り上げ、それについて理由を含め5文以上 の英語で書きなさい。」
I like English the best. It is interesting to me because it is very different from Japanese. In English there are some sounds that we do not have in Japanese. For example, Japanese language does not have the sound of “R”. I really enjoy learning English and want to study in America in the future.
例3) 石川県公立高校H21入試問題 「あなたは次のように質問されたらどのように答えますか。まとまり のある内容の英文で、5文以上書きなさい。」 “What do you like to do in your free time?”
I like surfing the Internet in my free time. There are many websites that I like. Youtube is one of them and I enjoy watching interesting home videos and music videos. Also I enjoy reading my friends’ blogs. I want to learn more about computers and the Web in my high school life.
ポイントを整理
1. 「意見・主張パターン」の理由は、それぞれ違う視点から。設問にもよるが、理由は自分個人の考えや 感想よりも、世間一般に広く受け入れられている考え（社会通念）や事実を選ぶ。
2. いろんなことを書こうとせずに、ポイントを絞って書くこと。
3. 文章の流れに気を使って、採点する人（高校の先生）にとって読みやすい文にすること。［文と文に関 連性を持たせるとよい。接続詞や副詞・副詞句 ( in the future, for example など) を効果的に使うこと。] 4. 最後は、強く・ポジティブに・未来志向で。[ I learned that ... / I want to ... / I hope to ... / I look forward
to ..ing / this year ... / next year... / in the future ... / in my high school life ... など。]
5. 名詞を単数形にするか複数形に迷ったときは複数形に。a,an,the など冠詞がわからない時は所有代名詞 my, your, his, her, our, their, our family’s などを使うこと。
