平 成23年3月5-6日 に か けて 一 般 社 団 法 人 第1回 (第25回)日 本 助 産 学 会 学 術 集 会 が 北 川 眞 理 子 教 授(大 会長)の も と開催 され た。 そ の 際、 特 別 講 演 と して バ レ リー ホ ー ル教 授 を招聘 され た 関係 で、 講 演 終 了後 に 本学 に お い て も ご講 演 い た だ く運 び とな った。 平 成23年3月 7日 に講 演 会 を 開催 し、 イ ギ リス に お け る看 護 学 ・助 産 学 教 育 の現 状 に つ い て ご講 演 い た だ い た。 講 演会 の参 加 者 は 本学 教 員 、 大 学 院生 、 研 究 生 な ど計30名 で あ った。 講 演 内容 は、 ブ ライ トン大 学 、 ホ ー ル教 授 が セ ン ター長 を務 め る看 護 学 ・助 産 学 研 究 セ ン ター の紹 介、 イ ギ リス の看 護 ・助 産 師教 育 、 ブ ライ トン大 学 に お け る国 際交 流 、 現 在 の イ ギ リス の看 護 師、 助 産 師 の 実 践現 場 、 教 育 現 場 に お け る課 題 に つ い て で あ った(講 演 資 料)。 イ ギ リス の看 護 師 の養 成 制 度 は わ が 国 と異 な って お り、 大 学 学 部 生 の段 階 か ら特 定 の専 門領 域 を選 択 し,そ の専 門教 育 を 受 け る こ と、 そ の後 、 専 門分 野 に お い て修 士 、 博 士 の取 得 の た め の コー ス に進 む こ とな ど非常 に分 か りや す く説 明 して い た だ い た。 現 在 の イ ギ リス で の 看護 師、 助産 師 の 臨床 現 場 で の課 題 に つ い て は、 患者 か らの ケ ア の質 へ の期 待 が増 大 して い る こ と、 コ ミュニ テ ィで の セ ル フケ ア支 援 の ニ ー ズ の高 ま り、 プ ライ ベ ー トセ ク ター の増 大 な どを報 告 され た。 ま た 看護 師全 体 で 高齢 化 が進 ん で い る こ と、 看 護 師 が よ り高 度 な ケ ア に 関 わ るよ うに な り他 職 種 との調 整 が必 要 に な って い る ことな ど、興 味深 い テー マ を 実例 を交 え、 非常 に分 か りや す くご講 演 を い た だ い た。 教 員 か ら も複数 の質 問 が 寄 せ られ、 イ ギ リス の 看護 教 育 事 情 を知 り情 報 交 換 を行 う貴 重 な機 会 とな った。 講 演 終 了後 は助産 学 研 究科 の教 員 と教 育 研 究 交流 委 員 会 の メ ンバ ー に よ り意 見交 換 会 を 行 った。 本学 教 員 よ り 本 学 の看 護 学 部 の教 育 カ リキ ュ ラ ムの紹 介、 日本 の助 産 学 教 育 の 現状 、 本 学 の助 産 学 教 育 に つ い て紹 介 を行 い 、 今 後 の課 題 に つ い て情 報 交 換 を行 った。 日本 とイ ギ リス の 看護 教 育 の制 度 は異 な る点 もあ るが、 看護 教 育 を大 学 で始 め た点 に お い て はイ ギ リス の方 が は るか に歴 史 が古 く、2011年 か ら は看 護 教 育 はす べ て 大学 で行 う こ とに な る との こ とで あ った。 ホ ー ル教 授 か らイ ギ リス で の経 験 も踏 ま え、 カ リキ ュ ラム の あ り方 、 内容 な ど非常 に 役立 つ情 報 を 多 く得 る こ とが で きた。 国 は違 うが、 看護 師、 助 産 師 の教 育 に か か わ る教 員 が 抱 え る課 題 に は共 通 点 も 多 く、 非常 に有 意 義 な デ ィス カ ッ シ ョンを行 う こ とが で きた。 ブ ライ トン大 学 は国 際交 流 の歴 史 も長 く、40以 上 の 関 連 機 関 との パ ー トナ ー シ ップ が あ り、 助 産 師 ・看護 師 養 成 に お け る学 生 間 の短 期交 流 プ ロ グ ラム が 用意 され て い る こ と、 研 究者 間 の交 流 も行 わ れ て い る こ とを ご報 告 い た だ い た。 講 演 終 了後 は、 本学 で も今 後 交流 の可 能 性 を 探 る旨 を伝 え、 情 報 交 換 を続 け る こ と とな った。講演資料
