The challenge is to ensure integrity of the food-grade soybeans – from the farmer to the buyer. The solidarity of the system starts with the contract to grow specific soybeans and involves seed suppliers, farmers, processors and transportation companies. Minnesota Crop Improvement Association (MCIA) can provide independent certification and other quality assurance programs to ensure purity through segregation of food-grade soybeans at each step.
