１－１） MyWaseda にログイン後、[ホーム]メニュー [メール] の内の [Waseda メール] をクリックします。
２ セットアップの進行状況を非表示にする（必須）
３ Gmail の言語設定の変更（オプション）
Waseda メール（Gmail）の初期設定言語は日本語となります。必要に応じて Gmail の言語設定を変更してください。 参考（Gmail ヘルプ）: Gmail の言語設定を変更する

３－１） 右上の設定アイコン をクリックし、[設定] をクリックします。
３－２） [全般]-[言語] セクションで、プルダウン メニューから言語を選択します。
４ 他の全ての Google サービスの言語設定の変更（オプション）

４－１） 右上の設定アイコン をクリックし、[設定] をクリックします。
４－３） アカウント設定のウィンドウが開きますので、[言語と入力ツール]を選択し、[言語]をクリックします。
４－５） プルダウンメニューから言語を選び、[OK] をクリックします。
４－６） 複数の言語を使用する場合は、 [他の言語を追加] を選択すると、複数の言語をアカウントのプロフィールに追加 できます。
４－７） 表示言語の変更が完了したら、アカウント設定のブラウザウィンドウと Waseda メール（Gmail）ウィンドウを閉じてくだ さい。次に、Waseda メールにアクセスしたときに選択した言語でページが表示されます。
５ 自動転送を有効にする（オプション）
参考（Gmail ヘルプ）: Gmail のメールを他のアカウントに自動転送する （https://support.google.com/mail/answer/10957?hl=ja） ※すべてのメールを自動転送する場合、転送先のメールアドレスは 1 つのみ設定可能です。 ※メールを複数のアカウントへ転送するには、「特定の種類のメールのみを転送する」の手順で、複数のアカウントへ転送する ためのフィルタを作成します。 ※Gmail で迷惑メールと判定されたメールは、転送から除外されます。 ※転送の設定ができるのはパソコンの Web ブラウザのみです。モバイル用の Gmail アプリでは設定できません。 ５－１） 右上の設定アイコン をクリックし、[設定] をクリックします。 ５－２） [メール転送と POP/IMAP] タブをクリックします。 ５－３） [転送] セクションで、[転送先アドレスを追加] をクリックします。５－４） 転送先のメールアドレスを入力し、［次へ］をクリックします。
５－５） [続行]、[OK]の順にクリックします。
５－７） メールに記載されている確認リンクをクリックし、［確認］ボタンをクリックします。 ５－８） メール転送元の Gmail アカウントの「メール転送と POP/IMAP」ページに戻り、ブラウザを更新します。 ５－９） 受信メールの転送先となるアドレスを選択します。 ５－１０） 転送元の Gmail でメールをどのように処理するかを選択します。[Waseda メールのメールを受信トレイに残す] を 推奨します。 ５－１１） ページ下部にある [変更を保存] をクリックします。
６ メールソフトで Gmail を使用する（オプション）

Gmail のメールは、Windows 10 標準メールアプリ や Apple Mail など、IMAP4 ならびに OAuth 2.0 の両方がサポートされて いるメールソフトや端末からアクセスできます。
※有線 LAN（DHCP）接続、有線 LAN（固定 IP アドレス）接続、研究室等の個別に設置した無線 LAN 接続で、学内ネットワー クから IMAP4 を利用するためには、汎用プロキシを使用する必要があります。
※2016 年 9 月 1 日より、学内ネットワークからの IMAP4 利用には汎用プロキシが不要となりました。
手順１: IMAP の有効化
６－１） 右上の設定アイコン をクリックし、[設定] をクリックします。
６－３） [IMAP を有効にする] を選択し、[変更を保存] をクリックします。
手順２: メールソフトの設定

７ 差出人表示の変更（オプション）
送信するメールに表示される名前を変更できます。 たとえば、「t.ohkuma@waseda.jp」というメールアドレスに表示される名前を「大隈太郎」に変更することができます。 参考（Gmail ヘルプ）: ユーザー名の変更 （https://support.google.com/mail/answer/8158?hl=ja） ７－１） 右上の設定アイコン をクリックし、[設定] をクリックします。 ７－２） [アカウントとインポート] タブをクリックします。 ７－３） [名前] セクションで [情報を編集] をクリックします。７－４） 送信メールに表示する名前を入力します。

１ First Log in Setting (required)
１－１） Open [Email] menu and click [Waseda Mail] menu on [Home] global menu of MyWaseda.
１－２） "Welcome to your new account" screen opened, and click [Accept].
２ Close [Setup progress] (required)
２－１） close the” Setup progress” window.
３ Change your Gmail language settings (optional)
Default language of Waseda Mail （Gmail） is Japanese. You can change your Gmail language settings, if you want to. Please refer to the Google Helps.

３－１） In the top right, click Settings , and click [設定] .
３－２） In the [言語] section, pick a language from the drop-down menu.
４ Change language settings for other Google products (optional)

４－１） In the top right, click Settings , and click [設定] or [Settings].
４－２） In the [言語] or [Language]section, click [他の Google サービスの言語設定を変更] or [Change language settings for other Google products].
４－３） In the "アカウント設定" section, select [言語と入力ツール], and click [言語]
４－５） Choose your language from the dropdown box and click [Ok].
４－６） If you use multiple languages, you can add them to your My Accounts profile by selecting [ADD ANOTHER LANGUAGE].
４－７） Once you've changed language, close the “Account preferences” and “Waseda Mail (Gmail)” browser window. Then, open Waseda Mail, it should be displayed in the language you've selected.
５ Automatically forward Gmail messages to another account (optional)

NOTE:
You can only automatically forward all your messages to one account.
To forward emails to multiple accounts, use the "Only forward certain kinds of messages" steps to create filters to forward messages to different accounts.
When your new messages are forwarded, messages from spam won't be included. You can only set up forwarding on your computer, and not on the mobile Gmail app.
５－１） In the top right, click Settings , and click [Settings].
５－２） Click the [Forwarding and POP/IMAP] tab.
５－４） Enter the email address you want to forward messages to, and click [Next].
５－５） Click [Proceed] and [OK].
５－６） If you forward Gmail messages to address except for ~@~.waseda.jp, a verification message will be sent to that address.
５－７） Click the verification link in that message, and click [Confirm].
５－８） Go back to the [Forwarding and POP/IMAP] page for the Gmail account you want to forward messages from, and refresh your browser.
５－９） Select Forward a copy of incoming mail to.
５－１０） Choose what you want to happen with the Gmail copy of your emails. It is recommended [Keep Waseda Mail's copy in the Inbox].
６ Set up Gmail with mail clients (optional)

You can retrieve your Gmail messages with a client or device that supports IMAP4 and OAuth 2.0, like Mail Apps for Windows10 or Apple Mail.
NOTICE:
If you access the on-campus network with the "Wired LAN Connections", you need to use the "General Purpose Proxy" service.
"General Purpose Proxy" service is no longer required from September 1, 2016.
STEP 1: Enable IMAP
６－１） In the top right, click Settings , and click [Settings].
６－３） Select [Enable IMAP] and click [Save Changes].
STEP 2: Set up your client
６－４） To send/receive Waseda Mail messages, use the table below to set up your client. General configuration for mail client

７ Change your username (optional)
You can change the name that shows up when you send emails.
