We would like to take some time to explain to you our menu concept. If you have any questions please ask one of our staff members. Enjoy your Traditional Japanese meal.

The Menu Concept

You can compose your own 5-course menu, with each course a max. of 4 dishes. Ofcourse it is possible to have less courses with less dishes.

However, the menu price remains the same.

You have the choice between our Classic menu or our Special menu. The choice of the menu is only per table.

You can order all the dishes à la carte and we also have a small finger food menu. We don’t serve tap water.

Our products are freshly prepared while ingredients last and when available.

DID YOU KNOW?

Traditionally Japanese people only eat sushi on special occasions. Sushi is

considered a main course dish. As appitizers or starters they eat small dishes like yakitori, grilled fish, gyoza and tempura dishes. We like to recommend this style of eating to all our guests! To complete your traditional dining experience also try our special selection of sake.

REAL WASABI & HOW TO EAT SUSHI!

Real wasabi is extremely rare. It is very tricky to cultivate and even in Japan demand outstrips supply. Now in Fugu you can try this green “gold”. Per serving €5,- (when available)We noticed many guests don’t know how to enjoy sushi the proper way. Our staff would gladly give you a small demonstration about how to eat sushi.
