IPCO Malathion Grain Protectant Dust is effective against damage from Confused Flour Beetle, Flat Grain Beetle, Granary Weevil, Indian Meal Moth, Lesser Grain Borer, Merchant Grain Beetle, Rusty Grain Beetle, Sawtoothed Grain Beetle.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Apply IPCO Malathion Grain Protectant to the grain as it is being loaded or turned into final storage. Obtain even coverage. Do not apply to grain within 7 days of sale.

To protect against surface infestations of stored grain apply:

Wheat, Rye, Barley, Oats, Rice 4.5 kg/100 sq. m.

Apply to the surface of the grain and work into the grain with a rake to a depth of 15 cm.

Do not apply to grain within 7 days of sale.

PRECAUTIONS: KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.

Hazardous if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Avoid breathing dust. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Wash exposed skin areas thoroughly with soap and water after working with Malathion. Clean contaminated clothing before re-use. Do not contaminate feed or foodstuffs. Avoid contaminating any body of water. Containers should be kept tightly sealed when not in use. Do not store product near seed, food, feed, fertilizer and like commodities. Highly toxic to fish and bees.

DISPOSAL:

1) Thoroughly empty the contents of the container into the application device.

2) Make the empty container unsuitable for further use.

3) Dispose of the container in accordance with provincial requirements.

4) For information on disposal of unused, unwanted product, contact the

manufacturer or the provincial regulatory agency. Contact the manufacturer and the provincial regulatory agency in case of a spill, and for clean-up of spills.

FIRST AID: In case of poisoning call a physician or poison control centre

IMMEDIATELY. Symptoms of poisoning include headache, weakness, sweating, blurred vision, nausea, cramps, diarrhea and discomfort in the chest. In case of exposure move patient from area and remove all contaminated clothing. Wash all exposed skin with soap and water. If in eyes, flush with water. If breathing is weak or irregular, give artificial respiration. If swallowed give the patient 1 or 2 glasses of water and cause the

patient to vomit. Take container, label or product name and Pest Control Product Registration Number with you when seeking medical attention.

TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION: Atropine is antidotal. Do not use 2-PAM.

NOTICE TO USER: This pest control product is to be used only in accordance with the directions on the label. It is an offence under the Pest Control Products Act to use this product in a way that is inconsistent with the directions on the label.
