Extracting and Structuring Knowledge from Learning Material

Composing representation of knowledge learned from learning material involves extracting and structuring the elements to be represented. Such composition is an effective way to have a deeper understanding of the material. However, it is difficult for the learners to extract the elements from the material. This paper discusses some issues to be addressed and the solutions for promoting the extraction.
