National Taiwan University (NTU), well known as the most outstanding university

in Taiwan, is one of the most important partner universities with long-time

relationship for Waseda University. Along with the university-wide exchange

program between Waseda and NTU, the departmental student exchange program

between FPSE, Waseda and the College of Social Sciences, NTU was started from

2014. NTU offers courses held in both English and Chinese.

Requirement

Applicants must have a high level of English proficiency equivalent to TOEFL score of PBT 550 (CBT 213, iBT 80) or above.

*If you are proficient in Chinese, English proficiency is not required. For details, please ask SPSE Office.

Tuition Fees

Whereas successful candidates are to pay their tuition fees for Waseda during their stay at NTU, they do not have to pay any tuition fees for NTU; however, other expenses such as travel expenses, living expenses and other miscellaneous expenses are to be defrayed by successful candidates.

N.B. EDESSA students are also required to submit an English certificate.

4.Final Approval by NTU TBA

Notes

Information of the successful candidates is to be sent to NTU after the internal screening at FPSE and the final decision for acceptance will be made by NTU.

Once successful candidates are accepted, they are not allowed to apply for other study abroad programs offered by CIE or FPSE.

Successful candidates have to purchase university-designated overseas travel insurance before going to study abroad.
