(dumb) means, unable t o speak.
びゅ６ヨ⊥タ∠ヱぴ
(deaf) means, unable t o hear. They will be in t his st at e as a punishment for t he way t hey were in t his world, blind, dumb and deaf t o t he t rut h. This will be t heir recompense when t hey are gat hered on t he Day of Resurrect ion, at t he t ime when t hey need t hese facult ies most of all.
び⊥ユ⊥ワや∠ヱ∇ほ∠ョぴ
(t heir abode) means, t heir dest inat ion.
び∇ろ∠ら∠カ ゅ∠ヨｚヤ⊥ミ ⊥ユｚレ∠ヰ∠ィぴ
(will be Hell; whenever it abat es,) Ibn ` Abbas said, "(This means) calms down,'' Muj ahid said, (It means) is ext inguished,''
びや⇔ゲΒ⌒バ∠シ ∇ユ⊥ワゅ∠ル∇キ⌒コぴ
(We shall increase for t hem t he fierceness of t he Fire.) meaning, increasing it s flames and heat and coals, as Allah says:
び ⇔ゅよや∠グ∠ハ ｚΙ⌒ま ∇ユ⊥ミ∠ギΑ⌒ゴｚル リ∠ヤ∠プ ∇やヲ⊥ホヱ⊥グ∠プぴ
(So t ast e you (t he result s of your evil act ions). No increase shall We give you, except in t orment .) (78:30)
や∠ク⌒￢∠ぺ ∇やヲ⊥ャゅ∠ホ∠ヱ ゅ∠レ⌒わ⇒∠Αゅ∠⇒⌒よ ∇やヱ⊥ゲ∠ヘ∠ミ ∇ユ⊥ヰｚル∠ほ⌒よ ユ⊥ワ⊥ぼへ∠ゴ∠ィ ∠マ⌒ャ∠クぴ び や⇔ギΑ⌒ギ∠ィ ゅ⇔ボ∇ヤ∠カ ∠ラヲ⊥をヲ⊥バ∇ら∠ヨ∠ャ ゅｚル⌒￢∠ぺ ゅ⇔ゎゅ∠プ⊥ケ∠ヱ ゅ⇔ョゅ∠ヌ⌒ハ ゅｚレ⊥ミ ｚジャや ∠ペ∠ヤ∠カ ン⌒グｚャや ∠ヮｚヤャや ｚラ∠ぺ ∇や∇ヱ∠ゲ∠Α ∇ユ∠ャ∠ヱ∠ぺぴ

∇ユ⊥ヰ∠ャ ∠モ∠バ∠ィ∠ヱ ∇ユ⊥ヰ∠ヤ∇ん⌒ョ ∠ペ⊥ヤ∇ガ∠Α ラ∠ぺ ヴ∠ヤ∠ハ ∀ケ⌒キゅ∠ホ ∠チ∇ケｘΙや∠ヱ び や⇔ケヲ⊥ヘ⊥ミ ｚΙ∠ま ∠ラヲ⊥ヨ⌒ヤ⇒ｚヌャや ヴ∠よ∠ほ∠プ ⌒ヮΒ⌒プ ∠ょ∇Α∠ケ ｚΙ ⇔Κ∠ィ∠ぺ
(98. That is t heir recompense, because t hey denied Our Ayat and said: "When we are bones and fragment s, shall we really be raised up as a new creat ion'') (99. See t hey not t hat Allah, Who
creat ed t he heavens and t he eart h, is able t o creat e t he like of t hem. And He has decreed for t hem an appoint ed t erm, whereof t here is no doubt . But t he wrongdoers refuse but disbelief.)
Allah says: ` This punishment, being resurrected blind, dumb and deaf, is what they deserve, because they disbelieved,
びべ∠レ⌒わ⇒∠Αゅ∠⇒⌒よぴ
(Our Ayat ), i.e., Our proof and evidence, and did not t hink t hat t he resurrect ion could ever happen.'
∇やヲ⊥ャゅ∠ホ∠ヱぴ び⇔ゅわ⇒∠プ⊥ケ∠ヱ ⇔ゅヨ⇒∠ヌ⌒ハ ゅｚレ⊥ミ や∠ク⌒￢∠ぺ
(and said: "When we are bones and fragment s...'') meaning, when we have disint egrat ed and our bodies have rot t ed away,
び⇔やギΑ⌒ギ∠ィ ⇔ゅボ∇ヤ∠カ ∠ラヲ⊥をヲ⊥バ∇ら∠ヨ∠ャ ゅｚル⌒￢∠ぺぴ
(shall we really be raised up as a new creat ion) meaning, aft er we have disint egrat ed and disappeared and been absorbed int o t he eart h, will we come back a second t ime Allah est ablished proof against t hem and t old t hem t hat He is able t o do t hat , for He creat ed t he heavens and t he eart h, so raising t hem up again is easier for Him t han t hat , as He says:
⌒ペ∇ヤ∠カ ∇リ⌒ョ ⊥ゲ∠ら⇒∇ミ∠ぺ ⌒チ∇ケｘΙや∠ヱ ⌒れ∠ヲ⇒∠ヨｚジャや ⊥ペ∇ヤ∠ガ∠ャぴ び⌒サゅｚレャや
(The creat ion of t he heavens and t he eart h is indeed great er t han t he creat ion of mankind;) ぴ40:57び
∠カ ン⌒グｚャや ∠ヮｚヤャや ｚラ∠ぺ ∇や∇ヱ∠ゲ∠Α ∇ユ∠ャ∠ヱ∠ぺぴ

(Do t hey not see t hat Allah, Who creat ed t he heavens and t he eart h, and was not wearied by t heir creat ion, is able t o give life t o t he dead) ぴ46: 33び

⊥ユΒ⌒ヤ∠バ∇ャや ⊥ペ⇒ｚヤ∠ガ∇ャや ∠ヲ⊥ワ∠ヱ ヴ∠ヤ∠よ ユ⊥ヰ∠ヤ∇ん⌒ョ ∠ペ⊥ヤ∇ガ∠Α ラ∠ぺ ヴ∠ヤ∠ハ

び ⊥ラヲ⊥ム∠Β∠プ リ⊥ミ ⊥ヮ∠ャ ∠メヲ⊥ボ∠Α ラ∠ぺ ⇔ゅゃ∇Β∠セ ∠キや∠ケ∠ぺ へ∠ク⌒ま ⊥ロ⊥ゲ∇ョ∠ぺ べ∠ヨｚル⌒ま(Is not He Who creat ed t he heavens and t he eart h, able t o creat e t he like of t hem Yes, indeed!
He is t he All-Knowing Supreme Creat or. Verily, His command, when He int ends a t hing, is only t hat He says t o it , "Be!'' and it is!) (36:81-82) And Allah says here:
⇒∠ヨｚジャや ∠ペ∠ヤ∠カ ン⌒グｚャや ∠ヮｚヤャや ｚラ∠ぺ ∇や∇ヱ∠ゲ∠Α ∇ユ∠ャ∠ヱ∠ぺぴ
⌒れ∠ヲ び∇ユ⊥ヰ∠ヤ∇ん⌒ョ ∠ペ⊥ヤ∇ガ∠Α ラ∠ぺ ヴ∠ヤ∠ハ ∀ケ⌒キゅ∠ホ ∠チ∇ケｘΙや∠ヱ
(See t hey not t hat Allah, Who creat ed t he heavens and t he eart h, is able t o creat e t he like of t hem.) meaning, on t he Day of Resurrect ion, He will recreat e and rest ore t heir bodies, as He creat ed t hem in t he first place.
び⌒ヮΒ⌒プ ∠ょ∇Α∠ケ ｚΙ ⇔Κ∠ィ∠ぺ ∇ユ⊥ヰ∠ャ ∠モ∠バ∠ィ∠ヱぴ
(And He has decreed for t hem an appoint ed t erm, whereof t here is no doubt .) means, He has set a t ime for t hem t o be re-creat ed and brought fort h from t heir graves, an appoint ed t ime which must surely come t o pass. As Allah says:
び ∃キヱ⊥ギ∇バｚョ ∃モ∠ィ６Ι ｚΙ⌒ま ⊥ロ⊥ゲあカ∠ぽ⊥ル ゅ∠ョ∠ヱぴ
(And We delay it only for a t erm (already) fixed.) (11:104)
び∠ラヲ⊥ヨ⌒ヤ⇒ｚヌャや ヴ∠よ∠ほ∠プぴ
(But t he wrongdoers refuse) -- aft er t he proof has been est ablished against t hem,
びや⇔ケヲ⊥ヘ⊥ミ ｚΙ⌒まぴ
((and accept not hing) but disbelief.) means, t hey persist in t heir falsehood and misguidance.
や⇔ク⌒ま ヴあよ∠ケ ⌒る∠ヨ∇ェ∠ケ ∠リ⌒もへ∠ゴ∠カ ∠ラヲ⊥ム⌒ヤ∇ヨ∠ゎ ∇ユ⊥わル∠ぺ ∇ヲｚャ モ⊥ホぴ び や⇔ケヲ⊥わ∠ホ ⊥リ⇒∠ジ∇ルΗや ∠ラゅ∠ミ∠ヱ ⌒ベゅ∠ヘル⌒Ηや ∠る∠Β∇ゼ∠カ ∇ユ⊥わ∇ム∠ジ∇ョΕ
(100. Say: "If you possessed t he t reasure of t he mercy of my Lord, t hen you would surely hold back for fear of spending, and man is ever miserly!'')
