9-9（1） "Personal Accident Insurance for Students Pursuing Education and Research"（Gakken-Sai）
Thisinsurancehelpsstudentswithphysicalinjuriesarisingfromunexpected accidentsduringtheireducationalandresearchactivities（suchascurricular activities,schoolevents,extracurricularactivities,etc.）.Every student, both degree students, and non-degree students, at Kanazawa University has to carry this Gakken-Sai insurance. The insurance premium varies depending upon the student’s length of enrollment. To apply, please consult your student affairs section.

OtherthantheGakken-Saiinsurance,thereareliabilityinsuranceswhich covercompensationfordamagescausedduringregularorextracurricular activities,schooleventsorotheractivitiessuchasinternships,nursingcare practice,theProgramforthestudyofJapaneseCultureandSociety,etc.To carry this insurance, you have to hold a Gakken-Sai. If you do not know whether you need to hold liability insurance, please ask at your student affairs section.
