この文書には、ベリタスが Veritas™ System Recovery 18 との互換性をサポートし、利用できることを確認したオペレーティングシステム、プラットフォーム、アプリケーションを記載しています。このリストには、VSR のファミリ製品である、Veritas System Recovery 18、Veritas System Recovery 18 Basic Edition、Veritas System Recovery 18 Linux Edition、Veritas System Recovery 18 Management Solution、Veritas System Recovery Granular Restore Option、Veritas System Recovery 18 Monitor が含まれています。

1.他のベリタス製品との互換性

他のベリタス製品との互換性は、VSR チームにとって重要です。実用的な必要性の観点から、互換性の確保の対応は、現在のベリタス製品、つまり EOL (ライフサイクル終了) が発表されていない製品に限られます。ベリタス製品で、このポリシーにおける例外または制限事項を次に示します。

VSR は、Continuous Protection Server (CPS) の実行時に、同時にバックアップを作成することはできません。

2.互換性に関する一般的な注意事項

• VSR は Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) に対応しています。VSS 対応のデータベース環境 (Exchange、SQL Server など) では、VSR でシステム状態の情報が正確に取得されます。VSS 対応製品 (Oracle 11g など) で、VSS バックアップのために実行する特定の手順がある場合は、それに従う必要があります。

• Windows 8 または Windows Server 2012 がハイパーバイザーでサポートされていない場合、VSRD バージョン 18 は、これらのハイパーバイザー上で動作している仮想マシ

3.他社製品のベリタスサポート

ベリタスはサードパーティベンダーと連携して、他社製品とベリタス製品との間で見つかった問題の切り分けを支援します。ベリタスのテクニカルサポートは、この文書に示すベリタス製品と他社製品の組み合わせについて、製品が製造元またはベンダーによってサポートされていることを条件として対応します。ベンダーがサポートを終了した製品バージョンの場合は、ベリタスでも、その製品とベリタス製品との組み合わせはサポートできません。

ベリタスでは、Veritas System Recovery 18 をできるだけ多くの種類のオペレーティングシステム、サービスパック、ハードウェアプラットフォーム、データベースアプリケーションのサービスパック、その他のアプリケーションと組み合わせて問題点がないか確認するために、最大の努力を行っています。しかし、組み合わせの数が多いため、すべての組み合わせで互換性をテストすることはできません。特定のサービスパックまたはバージョンが、ベリタスが実際にテストしたものとして記載されていない場合、正常に機能する可能性はありますが、ベリタスでは Veritas System Recovery 18 と組み合わせた明示的なテストは行っていません。

• 必要な .NET Framework のバージョンがまだインストールされていない場合は、Veritas System Recovery インストールプログラムにより自動的にコンピュータにインストールされます。

• Veritas System Recovery 18 Management Solution (VSR-MS) をドメインコントローラにインストールすることはできません。これは、基盤となる Notification Server コンポーネントが、ドメインコントローラに存在しないローカルユーザーアカウントを利用するためです。

1. サポートされるのはデータボリュームのみです。

Veritas System Recovery 18 Granular Restore (VSR に付属)

以下の要件が必要です。

• Internet Explorer バージョン 8.0 以降

• .NET Framework 4.5.2

• Exchange リストア用に Microsoft Outlook 2007、Outlook 2010 の 32 ビット版または Outlook 2010 の 64 ビット版

• Outlook 2013 は、Veritas System Recovery 18 では限定的にサポートされます。詳しくは、https://www.veritas.com/support/ja_JP/article.000023565 を参照してください。

• Exchange リストア用に Exchange サーバーから生成された VSR 18 のリカバリポイント。クラスタおよびクラスタ連続レプリケーション環境はサポートされません。

• Veritas System Recovery は、Exchange DAG 構成の個別のサーバーの保護に使用できます。また個別のメールボックスは GRO で復元できますが、DAG フェールオーバーの状況はサポートされません。
