職務内容/Duties:
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Delivers and distributes newspapers, community papers, tabloids, and other publications, or printed products to customers on and off base as instructed. Replaces daily newspaper, collects unsold newspaper (return) and cash from the newspaper vending machines. Performs Total Market Coverage paper delivery and
collection/clean-up of the paper as assigned. Displays rack cards, corner cards, and refills any other promotional materials or magazines on vending machines/racks as required. Counts cash and unsold newspapers collected from the newspaper vending machines, enters the amount on the run sheet, confirms with outlets for quantity on daily newspaper log sheet. Cuts off the mastheads on the Stars and Stripes for audit purposes. Monitors
conditions of vending machines, and maintains them clean and operational. Performs the daily maintenance & inspections on the Official Vehicles (OV) in compliance with Army vehicle regulations and Stars and Stripes Pacific (SSP) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for vehicle utilization. Keeps all records; Records Petroleum, Oils and Lubrications (POL) consumption. Keeps up a travel log to record areas traveled to, travel time, and mileage on Motor Utilization Record. Ensures that OVs are kept perfect and clean at all times by washing both the inside and outside parts of the vehicle. Washes daily and waxes the vehicles weekly. Transports newspapers, products, materials, and staff securely to areas where they are needed. Ensures that products and passengers are protected and secured. Loads the cargoes on the OV, confirms quantity on the shipping manifest, and brings back the hand receipt. Ensures timely conveyance of staff and materials to and from places as instructed. Performs as Company Driver in Okinawa Area Office for on and off bases in Okinawa. Reports any instance of mishap or accident, injury or damage of vehicles to the Newspaper Shipment Supervisor or the EN Manager.
Performs other related or incidental duties as assigned.

職務内容/Duties:
The purpose of this position is to manage a wide variety of different programs presenting many complex situations. In addition, the employee serves as analyst and advisor on matters pertaining to program review, analysis, and performance evaluation. When the Installation Emergency Operations Center (EOC) or when the Evacuation Control Center is activated, the Employee may be required to perform duties such as a Common Operating Picture Manager, an EOC Recorder and/or perform emergency administrative support functions. The duties include, but not limited to the following:
Operations Management: Processes Execution Orders (EXORDs), Operations Orders (OPORDs), Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs) and Tasking Orders (TASKORDs) and coordinates actions with USAG Okinawa staff, mission and tenant units. Utilizes the Task Management Tool (TMT) as a mechanism and/or databases to track all requirements and tasks. Develops and maintains internal tracking mechanisms in order to ensure accountability of all assigned tasks. Regularly conducts in-process reviews (IPRs) for events.
Emergency Management Planning: Maintains the Installation Emergency Management (IEM) Plan and
associated documents. Serves as an analyst to develop and monitor implementation of policies, procedures, and guidance and provides means of measuring process improvements to achieve improvements in efficiency and effectiveness of plans. Ensures that EOC systems are fully mission capable and exercised on a regular basis. Administrative Management: Directs, coordinates, and assists with administrative functions within DPTMS. Oversees the directorate's budget, including formulation of the annual spend plan, and analyzes briefing products in preparation for recurring Program Budget Advisory Committee (PBAC) meetings.
Exercise Management: Serves as the USAG Okinawa Liaison to Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) and Host Nation City level Emergency Management Office as the support request coordinator. Acts as a liaison and coordinator in support of the USAG Okinawa (IEM) representatives. Provides translation/interpreter duties. Performs other related or incidental duties as assigned.

Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level OR Completion of four year college/university in a related field OR 2 academic year of graduate level education.

職務内容/Duties:
The employee performs work involved in the visual, physical and operative inspection of various types of equipment to determine proper identification, condition, classification, serviceability and preservation for storage in accordance with current supply manuals, bulletins, specifications, directives, as applicable, at time of receipt, while in stock and prior to shipment. The duties include, but not limited to the following:
Physical Inspection of Equipment turn-in from Customer: Checks condition of the equipment prior to turn in. Checks required documentation are along with the turn-in document, i.e., Technical Inspection sheet and applicable Tags for proper preparation for acceptance of items. Stamps “CLEAR FOR SALVAGE” for the unserviceable items brought-in from customer for direct shipment to DRMO. Compares identifying data such as stock number, unit of issue, shelf life, and ownership status as indicated on turn-in document. Segregates items and store in proper storage area. Checks all items that are turned-in to ensure they are CLEAN, DRY, OIL FREE and correctly PACKED. Insures that containers are not broken or loose prior to turn-in.
Asset Maintenance: Inspects storage stocks to determine proper condition code and initiates reclassification action DD Form 1225 as required to upgrade or downgrade of assets or re-identification of stocks.
Performs other related or incidental duties as assigned.

Must have at least one year of specialized experience in the related work at the next lower grade level or equivalent.

職務内容/Duties:
The employee will perform functions that include, but are not limited to the following:
1. IT System Planning and Design: Develops telecommunications plans for networks, interior and exterior cable systems, etc., to include Land Mobile Radio, satellite system infrastructure, and UC/VoIP systems. Recommends improvements to existing infrastructure to meet customer, technical requirements, and 78th Signal Battalion requirements. Represents 78th Signal Battalion in meetings to develop HN funded project documentation (e.g., Form 22), military construction (MILCON) requirements documents (e.g., DD1391), and designs for Japanese Facility Improvement Program (JFIP) projects. Meetings include technical discussions with the customer, USACE, DPW, ODB, other US Military Services, etc. Reviews and coordinates IT requirements for all JFIP and MILCON design reviews. Serves as a point of contact for processing and signing dig permits.
2. IT Project Manager: Manages projects and coordinates with other 78th Signal Battalion personnel to
accomplish key project tasks. Analyzes project requirements and technical specifications identified through the master planning process, validates IT and telecommunications requirements to ensure projects meet technical guidance and regulations. Analyzes IT and telecommunications requirements and ensures these requirements are included in the project documentation (e.g., Form 22 or DD1391). Develops and evaluates engineering plans, technical proposals, and cost estimates for feasibility. Reviews engineering drawings and blueprints for project actions and coordinates among numerous agencies to ensure designs meet I3A standards and USFJ communications design requirements. Develops cost estimates and prepares lists of materials for projects. 3. IT Management Officer: Serves as a HHD Okinawa Information Management Officer (IMO). Supports the deployment of new computer systems, software, etc. Provides assistance to customers for IT equipment to include computer hardware, software, LAN, and IA policy implementations. Manages local IT projects when systems are fielded and ensures implementation is IAW applicable regulations. Briefs and advises 78th Signal Battalion leadership on the status of IMO projects and user compliance with IA and policies and provides technical advice. Submits IT work orders on behalf of the 78th Signal Battalion users. Works closely with the NEC Help Desk to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues.
4. Other Duties: Develops and modifies technical drawings, diagrams, and blueprints with computer aided design software. Prepares technical reports, charts, and slides as required for project presentations.

職務内容/Duties:
The employee serves as the Assistant Aquatics Program Manager responsible for the daily operation and supervision of aquatic fitness, training and recreational programs, personnel, and classes at aquatic facilities. The duties include, but not limited to the following:
Customer Service: Utilizes RecTrac POS to ring up customer transactions and retail sales. Takes registration for classes, events, and activities. Assists customers with aquatic facility reservations. Issues and receives rental equipment. Resolves customer complaints in a professional and satisfactory manner.
Supervision of Staff: Assists in developing and publishing the aquatics staff schedule. Ensures all staff trainings are up to date. Leads in-service trainings to staff and ensures staff are knowledgeable of all rules, regulations of the facility and other pertinent regulations. Assists aquatics staff by providing on-site expertise and assistance. Program Management: Assists in administering a wide range of fairly typical, conventional and well-established basic aquatic activities. Assists in planning, developing and executing all reoccurring and non-recurring programs and special events for the aquatics program. Assists in planning and establishing aquatic certification curriculum to include lifeguarding, lifeguard instructor, water safety instructor, water fitness instructor, swim lessons, special events. Ensures all financial regulations are met at the aquatic facility, DARs and end of month inventories are done IAW established policies and deadlines. Works with the marketing department to develop the overall marketing plan for all programs, events and facility updates.
Facility Management: Serves as the alternate key custodian, cash custodian and fixed asset hand receipt holder for the aquatics facility. Assists in maintaining facility upkeep, recommends facility improvements, and ensures the facility meets all relevant regulations. Assists with adherence to the policies established in AR 2151, AR 2153, TB MED 575, OSHA requirements, SOPs and other pertinent regulations. 要求される雇用条件/Required Condition of Employment:
1. The employee will be subject to an irregular tour of duty to include early mornings for activities, and late nights for open post festivals.
2. Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions, rain, wind, hot, cold, typhoon preparation and typhoon cleanup.

職務内容/Duties:
The employee serves as the full performance level engineer for the fire protection engineering portions of projects during the planning, designing, directing and construction stages. Projects assigned will include those designed and constructed under the Government of Japan’s (GOJ’s) Host Nation funded construction program for the US Forces, Japan (USFJ), as well as those funded by the US Government. The employee will perform functions that include, but are not limited to the following:
Attends conferences with Architect-Engineer (A-E) firms, the GOJ, and end-users, and represents the District and the USFJ as a consultant in the fire protection engineering field. Serves as technical interpreter at conferences between the USFJ and the GOJ, and provides documented minutes of all technical issues. Advises District and USFJ personnel, A-E firms, and the GOJ of new technical engineering applications and innovations that have an impact on established procedures. Coordinates with other engineers to arrive at mutually satisfactory approaches and solutions to engineering problems. Prepares fire protection
engineering portions of technical criteria documents and drawings for the Host Nation funded projects, as well as complete drawings, specifications, and other design documents for part of the US-funded projects. Responsible for planning, designing and carrying out programs, projects, studies, or other work with minimal assistance from higher grade Engineer/Section Chief. Assists supervisor in reviewing regulations, criteria, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) used by the USFJ, A-E firms, and the GOJ’s engineers. Assists the Section Chief and higher grade engineers by preparing instructions and guidance for their use in developing designs of the fire protection engineering portions of projects. Serves as an engineer providing support on all fire protection engineering issues. Reviews studies, design analysis, construction drawings, and specifications to ensure they are in accordance with established criteria, regulation, and policies. Coordinates comments with the A-E firms, other technical disciplines, project managers, end-users, and GOJ, as applicable. Provides fire protection engineering on-site inspection, assistance, and technical advice to District’s construction offices on projects under construction.
