Items that will not fit in bags, such as long umbrellas, may be left sticking out at the top of the bag

Pierce empty spray cans and gas cartridges in a well-ventilated area away from any flames, before putting them out for collection.

●Manganese/ Alkali Batteries Place in the battery

bucket at your garbage station.

*Mercury, nickel-cadmium, lithium, button, and rechargeable batteries

 are not collected by the city. Please return to the point of purchase.

*Only place batteries in the battery bucket.

Advance application necessary.

*Clean Nagasaki is closed when national holidays fall on a weekday.

★Between 1m-2m in length/ 30-60kg in weight= ¥1,028

*Purchase a sticker from a financial institution (bank/ post office etc.). *We will come to collect the items from your door.

*Items over 2m in length or 60kg in weight cannot be collected.

 Please take such items to a processing plant yourself, or arrange

collection through a private company.

Please return these items to the point of purchase, or contact a private waste disposal company.

Large amounts of waste produced in one go, eg. when moving house, cannot be collected.

Please take this waste to a processing plant yourself, or contact a private waste disposal company.

You must purchase a ticket to take your trash directly to the processing plant. Purchase a ticket from City Hall, an administration center, or a branch office.

Washing machines and clothes dryers/ LCD, plasma, and CRT televisions/ refrigerators and freezers

 / air conditioning units

(Home Appliance Recycling Law applies).

Please consult with the original point of purchase,

or the shop where you will purchase a replacement.

Includes any mouse and keyboard which were included at the time of purchase.
