When rocks and cohesive material are exposed at scoured areas in rivers, erosion of bed tends to be suppressed. Sediment transport rate is also suppressed on bed composed of rocks and cohesive material. In the present study, sediment transport and bed deformation characteristics on bed composed of rocks or cohesive material are discussed with attention focused on sediment sorting, based on the results obtained from numerical model of bed deformation and the model is applied to the Tonle Sap River in Cambodia. The results show that the bed degradation at the eroded area is suppressed because of the expose of the rigid or the cohesive material. Furthermore, the sediment transport rate is decreased. However, the temporal change of sediment size distribution on bed with rocks and cohesive material is faster that that on bed with non-cohesive material, because sediment is transported to downstream area without bed erosion process.

1.はじめに 河川の中・上流域には河床の一部から岩が露出 している場を良く見かける.また,平野部におい ても粘着性土層と非粘着性土層の互層構造が良く 見られ,河床の浸食特性が空間的に変化している 場が存在する.このような場では,岩や粘着性土 が露出しやすい洗掘域の浸食が抑制され,さらに 土砂が非平衡な状態で下流へ輸送されるため,流 砂量が減少する.本研究では,流砂層の厚さを無 次元掃流力の関数として時空間的に変化させ, 岩・粘着性土上の流砂量を評価する.さらに,本 モデルをカンボジア国・トンレサップ川に適用し, 粘着性土層の存在が流砂・河床変動特性に与える 影響について検討する. 2.結果及び考察 図-1 は,メコン河からトンレサップ川へ流入す る粗い土砂の河床中の存在率の時空間的な変化を 示す.トンレサップ川の流向は,乾期はトンレサ ップ湖からメコン河(チャトムック地点)へ流れ, 雨期には逆流する.図より,順流と逆流を繰り返 すトンレサップ川では,メコン河の粗い土砂がト ンレサップ湖まではほとんど流れておらず,メコ ン河の土砂によるトンレサップ湖の縮小について は,その心配の必要ないことが分かる.また,粘 着性河床上では浸食が抑制されるため,流砂の粒 度分布の時間的な変化が速い.しかし,粘着性土 を考慮してもメコン河の粗い土砂は,トンレサッ プ湖にはほとんど流入していない. 0 0.02 0.04 0.06 0.08 0.1 0.12 0 20 40 60 80 100 120 140 チャトムック側境界(プノンペン)からの距離(km) 存在 率 逆流後(2002.9) 逆流後(2003.9) 初期(2002.6) 順流後(2003.6) 図-1 粒径 0.28mm の第 5 粒径階の存在率の縦断分布の時間変化
