I’ve written the abstract of the whole paper in the former half published on the last bulletin. In the sequel, I’ve examined the joint consultation at the reform of personnel & wage system in ²°°´, and the wage negotiation after that reform. I indicate here the important things, focusing on the joint consultation at the reform. At that joint consultation, the abolition of periodic pay raise was not the issue. Although the labor union accepted that abolition, the initial proposal by the management about the arrangement of zero or minus points on the point table was amended by the union’s claim. As a result, minus points are not established for the employees at the stage of development. I can identify the labor union has partially prevented the overrun of performance-based system in introducing the new personnel & wage system.
